Blindside Returns With New Album
They have been seen on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” have collaborated with music icons including Smashing Pumpkins leader Billy Corgan and heard around the world on World Wrestling Entertainment. Now, after four years since the release of their last project, rock band Blindside is partnering with INO Records/Sony RED to unveil their sixth album, With Shivering Hearts We Wait, on June 7. “When we decided it was time to make another record, everyone’s perspective was really renewed and we’re super pumped right now to be doing the band again,” front man Christian Lindskog said. “We just needed to break away from music for a bit because it starts to define who you are when you should be finding it in a higher purpose.” After taking time to be with their families and reenergize after over a decade of touring the world and releasing material, the Swedish natives reconnected with producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Papa Roach, Flyleaf) to deliver an evolved artistic sound that still harkens back to band’s signature styles. Benson helmed the Elektra Records collections Silence (2002) and About a Burning Fire (2004) and helped create what is said to be their most compelling collection to date.
“The similarities between With Shivering Hearts We Wait and past projects is that we’re always striving to get the right songs for a project and the spirit is still Blindside,” assures Lindskog. “But this album is very different in the sense that it took us a lot longer to write and record it. We used to get everyone in a room and start jamming, but this time we started with an acoustic framework that was eventually translated into rock n’ roll songs.” “There are definitely some new elements, such as putting strings or an electronic sound over a really bombastic song,” adds guitarist Simon Grenehed. “We wanted to make the record sound big and didn’t feel like there were any boundaries.” Introducing strings and electronic elements, Blindside’s rock n’ roll styling turns epic and bombastic on many of the songs. One such song, “Our Love Saves Us” will act as the albums debut single, impacting Christian radio this Friday. In addition to introducing America to their new single, Blindside recently launched their new website withshiveringheartswewait.com, where mini documentary videos are being posted leading up to the album release while also leaking all 10 songs off their new record before it becomes available to the public. Those who get involved with the band’s pre-order will receive a unique special edition With Shivering Hearts We Wait album.

My Epic Release New EP
My Epic are back with Broken Voice, an acoustic-based EP filled with beautiful misfit songs written during the creation of 2010’s Yet that didn’t quite fit with the sound of that album. Now the band has made a home for those songs, simply written then fleshed out in the studio, on Broken Voice. According to Aaron Stone: “More than anything else Broken Voice is about joy. The last year of my life has been about finally learning that I don’t have to fight G-d to get what I need. I don’t have to prove myself to Him either. Jesus came precisely because none of my own methods would ever work. I had been striving so hard for perfection when all I ever had to do was surrender to it. I never knew where I was headed until G-d broke my will and gave me His. I never sung a song worth hearing until He broke my voice and made it His.”
Broken Voice was recorded in March and April in Winston Salem, NC with Sid Mennon at Sleepwalker Studios. Sid and My Epic go back a long way, all the way to the days of recording demos, and the band wanted to pair up with him again for this EP so they could feel free to experiment with the sound. Most of Broken Voice was written at Machina House, a Christian mission house founded by the band in a poor neighborhood on Charlotte’s north side four years ago. “The seeds of these songs, musically and lyrically were planted firmly in the soil of our home community,” says Aaron. The band did spend a week in seclusion, locked away in a barn, “trying to make sense of all the parts, but overall it was a very smooth process. The songs had already taken their basic form in the living room and around the burn barrel at Machina House.” Broken Voice will be released July 5th, and although it is an altogether different sound for My Epic, Aaron notes “This record is not a permanent departure from where we have been headed in the past but simply another focused aspect of what the Lord has placed within us.Normally it would not be possible for us to put out two records one year apart but since these songs were so different it allowed us to keep creating in a vein that hadn’t recently been depleted.”

Recording Live at the Masquerade, TFK performed in front of 20,000 fans after Canada’s largest youth event “YC,” which boasted record-breaking attendance for this conference. Live at the Masquerade captures all that TFK fans have come to love from their latest release, Welcome To The Masquerade, songs like: “Bring Me to Life,” “Forward Motion,” “Fire it Up,” and “Already Home” plus fan-favorites and TFK classics like “Rawkfist,” “Move,” “Falls Apart” and “Puppet.” Over a year-and-a-half after the release of their critically acclaimed project Welcome to the Masquerade, Thousand Foot Krutch is still sharing hits from this album that has produced three No. 1 Rock singles and three Top 20 CHR singles. TFK also celebrated their 11th career Rock single with “E For Extinction” this past fall. They also were a part of the hit spring tour “Rock & Worship Roadshow” with MercyMe, Jars of Clay, Matt Maher and The Afters.

A Sequence Of Ghosts Release Hostage(s)
Rarely do EPs make such a meaningful and impactful mark on a music scene ripe with rip-offs and the same old same old. While A Sequence of Ghosts have drawn comparisons ranging from As Cities Burn to Bring Me the Horizon, the Kansas City five piece has no intentions of being anyone but themselves. Hostage(s) is a crushing second effort in which ASOG truly shows their developed colors. The record is miles ahead of their previous self-titled effort and being only a year into their careers, ASOG are poised to become giants. The record includes guest vocals from Poema’s Elle Puckett, A Bullet for Pretty Boy’s Danon Saylor and solo artist Jake Germany. The guest spots only serve to emphasize the power and heart of these tracks as they drift from the soothing ambient to the bone shattering breakdowns that carry the listener to a different world.

Farewell Flight Signs With Mono Vs. Stereo
Farewell Flight is a melodic indie-pop rock band from the heart of Central Pennsylvania, where sometimes country kids and preachers’ sons abandon college degrees and steady jobs to chase down the dream of rock stardom, a goal they hope to accomplish with their debut CD for Mono vs. Stereo ‘Out For Blood’ produced and mixed by Grammy-winners Mitch Dane and Vance Powell, available digitally and at tour stops starting July 12. Farewell Flight’s ‘Out For Blood’ is the fourth release from Mono vs. Stereo, a partnership between Gotee Records and Relient K. Watch what Matthew Thiessen and Matthew Hoopes of Relient K (also A&R for Mono Vs Stereo) have to say at youtube.com/farewellflightmusic. “We’re very excited about this relationship with MVS. Matt Thiessen and Matt Hoopes first showed an interest over two years ago, at which time we were somewhat wary after being independent for so long. But the continued belief they showed in us and our music, coupled with our observation of how hard they’ve worked for their bands won us over completely.” – Luke Foley Comprised of singer Luke Foley, bassist Robbe Reddinger, lead guitarist Brian Campbell, and drummer Marc Prokopchak Farewell Flight embodies the spirit of true traveling musicians, having played nearly 700 shows from coast to coast over the last five years of their existence. Through their music and lyrics, the band seeks to bring accessible pop songs that highlight the ups and downs of life in general, drawing from personal experiences to which many people can relate, but especially those going through a quarter-life crisis.

David Crowder Band Announces Massive Tour
The GRAMMY ® nominated David Crowder*Band will headline the highly anticipated “The 7 Tour” with acclaimed artists Gungor, who is doing an acoustic set, Chris August and John Mark McMillan. The shows will span from September through November and hit over 30 clubs and theaters across the U.S. including key markets such as: Dallas, Texas, Los Angeles, Calif., Portland, Ore., Seattle, Wash., Chicago, Ill., New York, N.Y., Atlanta, Ga. and Orlando, Fla. Known for their fan-centric focus, David Crowder*Band unveiled a fan-exclusive pre-sale in order to give their core group of supporters the opportunity to purchase tickets before everyone else without high ticket fees and with the incentive of being the first ticket-holders into the venue each night. The pre-sale was such a success that in addition to the website initially crashing due to high traffic, nearly half of the dates sold out of their limited presale quantities seven months early. “We’re really excited about this tour,” comments David Crowder. “The line up is ridiculous! We’re pretty sure this is going to be a really special outing.” David Crowder*Band is currently working on their new album slated for release later this year or early 2012, this will be the follow-up to their GRAMMY ® nominated Church Music which released in the fall of 09.

Eisley Debuts New Video
EISLEY’s music video for “Smarter,” the first single from their new album THE VALLEY, premieres today on mtvU and online at mtvU.com. The video was filmed near the band’s hometown of Tyler, Texas, and directed by photographer Chris Phelps, who shot all of Eisley’s packaging and publicity photos for THE VALLEY as well as other artists including MGMT, Panic! At The Disco, B.o.B. and Travie McCoy. “Smarter” has received nationwide radio support while spending nine consecutive weeks on the FMQB Triple A top 200 radio charts. “Smarter” also spent six weeks on the FMQB Submodern top 200 chart, peaking at #25, with spins and support from KROQ/Los Angeles, KDGE/Dallas, WEDG/Buffalo, KBZT/San Diego, KFMA/Tucson, WRMR/Wilimington, WCNR/Charlottesville, WCYY/Portland and more. Says Josh Venable of KYSR/Los Angeles and KDGE/Dallas, “Comparisons to Kate Bush and her 2000’s counterpart Florence and The Machine are fine by me. This is the Eisley album we’ve been waiting for since the beginning. Don’t wait. This is the future.” Eisley are in the midst of a six-week headlining tour in support of THE VALLEY, with dates continuing through June 4. In a review of last week’s show at Boston’s Brighton Music Hall, the Boston Globe wrote, “They worked up a muscular guitar power that somehow maintained a sundressy feel…. By the time the band performed the romantic eulogy ‘Ambulance’ and the ghostly ‘Marvelous Things’ an observer might have found himself at a loss for words.”

The Great Transparency To Release New EP
Power Pop Rock band The Great Transparency (Razzbarry) is happy to announce their new EP Rebuild Your Love along with the release date, April 29, of the title track to national radio. Through the release of their EP Rebuild Your Love, Columbus, Ohio’s own The Great Transparency seeks out those who understand that this world needs a redefinition of love. Singer Miah Wagner says, “The kind of love that this world clings to in today’s culture is what is portrayed in movies, magazines, love songs on the radio, etc. It’s fiction, and it will fade away when stacked up against eternity. This world needs to know what true love is, as there is hope. People need to be brave enough to share love, and to live it out loud.” Love. This word is universally used more than any other. It describes a powerful force that affects us all. The meaning, however, is losing its power as the frivolousness of the word grows. With all the violence, stress, and frustration that surrounds our world, there are only two options left: give up on love, or set out to make it stronger—rebuild it. Rebuild Your Love is already gaining attention from stations such as The Effect, M88 and Christianrock.net. Though the upcoming radio release date is not until Friday, April 29, there is an exclusive listening party for the EP at Jesusfreakhideout.com and Razzbarry.com for previewing and pre-ordering .

Rebecca St. James Gets Married
Christian GRAMMY Award winning singer, Rebecca St. James, whose voice and personal story of dedication to purity behind her self-written signature song “Wait For Me”, encouraged millions of young people worldwide since its release a decade ago, said “I Do” this past weekend to the man she’s been waiting for. Rebecca married Jacob Fink on Saturday (4/23), in a ceremony held at the picturesque Junipero Serra Museum in San Diego, California. The noon wedding vows, including self-written commitment vows the couple wrote to each other, were set as the centerpiece of an intimate ceremony attended by 150 of their closest relatives and friends. Both Rebecca’s long time pastor, Rick White of the People’s Church in Franklin, Tennessee and Chris Schmaltz, the youth pastor who influenced Jacob’s decision for Christ as a teen and later provided ongoing spiritual guidance including marriage counseling for the couple, both officiated at the marriage. The glowing bride was given in marriage by her parents, David & Helen Smallbone. Included in the ceremony were special moments that included the couple’s exchange of the purity rings each had worn prior to their marriage, and a very personal spiritual exchange of their commitment to serve each other which included the bride and groom washing each other’s feet before their wedding guests. Special music included Rebecca & Jacob’s inclusion of the song You Make Everything Beautiful co-written by St. James and included on her recently released praise & worship album I Will Praise You. (Reunion Records/Provident Label Group). It was sung for the bridal couple and their assembled guests by the bride’s brothers, Joel & Luke. Rebecca’s long time spiritual mentor and close personal friend, Evie Tornquist Karlsson, following the wedding noted: “This was a glorious day of celebration! A marriage ceremony where from beginning to ending Jesus was the absolute focus and the special guest of honor of the bride and groom.”

This year the Rock & Worship Roadshow, which launches this Friday in Cape Girardeau, MO, is giving fans a chance to be a part of the show by presenting a Battle of the Bands contest in select tour markets, which can be found here.

To compete in The Battle of the Bands contest, listeners submit their music and youtube videos to their local radio station and the station narrows down contestants to a final three. The music from the top three finalists is passed along to the Roadshow artists who pick the winning act to perform a two-song set, 45 minutes prior to the beginning of the Rock & Worship Roadshow in the listeners’ city.

The first set of finalists were recently chosen and hail from Tennessee, Texas and Pennsylvania. A Nashville-based band was ultimately announced as the winner, and will take the stage next weekend in Huntsville, AL.

“The Battle of the Bands contest is a great opportunity for our listeners and for us to learn about the talent in our audience,” says Kris Spain from 88.1 Way-FM in Huntsville. “We are glad to help discover and encourage up-and-coming talent. The station received over 30 entries from local bands and those in other states. Most bands dream of opening for a concert like this, and we are glad to offer them the chance!”

The all-star cast on the 3rd Annual Rock & Worship Roadshow includes MercyMe, Jars of Clay, Thousand Foot Krutch, Matt Maher and The Afters, with hip-hop artist LeCrae joining the lineup starting February 24. The Compassion International sponsored event will entertain audiences in major cities such as Chicago, Colorado Springs and Phoenix and more while on the 25-city tour. Anberlin’s New Album Debuts At No. 9 On The Billboard 200

Anberlin’s Dark Is The Way, Light is a Place, which received a three-star review from USA Today, enters at No. 9 on The Billboard 200, marking the Universal Republic rockers’ highest charting album to date. Within hours of its release, Dark Is The Way, Light is a Place debuted at No. 1 on both Amazon.com and the iTunes Alternative Album Chart, and at No. 2 on iTunes’ overall album chart. It was also No. 1 at CIMS (Coalition Independent Music Stores). Lead single “Impossible” is already a Top 5 hit at Alternative radio and is on every major alternative station in the country, including KROQ-Los Angeles, Q101-Chicago, 89X-Detroit, The Edge-Dallas, KNDD-Seattle, 91X-San Diego and KRBZ-Kansas City. It goes to the Hot AC format later this month. USA Today recently named “Impossible” the “pick of the week,” calling it “insistent, insinuating…hard to resist.” “From the first note that ripples through ‘Impossible,’ Anberlin hooks the listener,” said Billboard. The single is available now on iTunes and Amazon. “Take Me (As You Found Me),” another track from Dark Is The Way, Light is a Place, is also charting on the iTunes Alternative Singles chart. MTV2 recently premiered the video for “Impossible,” which has also been added at Fuse, mtvU and Much More. The clip was directed by Endeavor Media, who worked with the band on its “Feel Good Drag” video. Anberlin will launch a North American headlining tour at New Orleans’ House of Blues on September 28th. Crash Kings and Civil Twilight will open on the outing. Anberlin will also play a show with 30 Seconds to Mars on September 30th in Oklahoma City. (See below for full tour itinerary.) While on tour, Anberlin will partner with Live Nation for a unique contest: they’ll use social media to let their fans pick Christian McAlhaney and Joey Milligan ’s next tattoos – designed by their loyal fans and tattooed by none other than “LA Ink’s” Ruthless. All the madness will be filmed at Anberlin‘s show at the world famous Irving Plaza on October 30th, 2010 in New York City. Joey, guitar player for Anberlin, has this to say about the contest; “This is seriously the most unique opportunity we have had to really let our fans leave their mark on us! We are huge fans of Ruthless’ work and can’t wait for this!” Fan submissions will begin on September 24th. Dark Is The Way, Light is a Place, the band’s fifth studio album, has been hailed as “moody modern rock” by Alternative Press, which awarded it four stars, adding: “the band allow Stephen Christian’s strong lyricism and impassioned vocals to take center stage to deliver some of his finest performances yet. There’s an emotional weight in his work, and that often speaks louder than any wall of distortion could.” In a three-star review, USA Today praised its “poetry and friction,” noting: “Lyrically and musically, these tunes bristle with relational tension that doesn’t easily resolve. Producer Brendan O’Brien makes the anthems arena-ready without taking off their edge.” “Feel Good Drag,” the No. 1 single from Anberlin’s 2008 breakthrough album,New Surrender, has been tapped for Activision’s new Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. The track ranks asthe longest-charting single in Modern Rock history and was named 2009’s “Rock Song of the Year” by FMQB. Formed in Winter Haven, FL in 2002, Anberlin has sold over 700,000 albums in its career and toured the world, sharing stages with American Rejects, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Paramore and many others. The band has been involved in numerous humanitarian efforts and lead vocalist Stephen Christian is a co-founder of Faceless International, an organization that defends exploited people worldwide.

Switchfoot Plays Benefit Show
On Wednesday, September 29th, SWITCHFOOT will play a special concert at Belhaven University in Jackson, MS. All proceeds (after expenses) will be donated to the John M. Perkins Foundation for Reconciliation and Development. A recent robbery severely impacted the Foundation’s music studio. Formed in 1983, the Foundation is dedicated to developing the lives of youth, leaders and the underprivileged in Jackson and around the world and advancing racial reconciliation. “An Evening with Switchfoot and Dr. John M. Perkins” will feature a full-length set by SWITCHFOOT plus speeches by Dr. John M. Perkins, the civil rights activist whose autobiography, Let Justice Roll Down, inspired the band’s Top 10 Modern Rock single “The Sound (John M. Perkins’ Blues)” and SWITCHFOOT’s lead singer/guitarist, Jon Foreman. “The purpose of this night is to commemorate the unlikely partnership of a civil rights patriarch from Mississippi and a rock band from San Diego,” said Jon Foreman. “The concert will be a celebration of the life and words of John M. Perkins – a man who refused to believe that the present injustices are final. For me, this concert was born out of the song of a man who rose above his situation. A man who lived out what he believed: Love is louder than violence. Love is louder than hatred. “My small hope is that this concert can raise funds for the John M. Perkins Foundation. They have a music studio that was robbed a few months back and, with the money we raise, we can get that program back on its feet. I’m hoping that this concert can be a lightning rod to attract the attention of more donors, and more folks who can partner with the JMP Foundation in and around Jackson.”
Fans can view the event via Ustream, live at 7:00 p.m. ET on September 29th at:

Philmont Releasing New EP
Charlotte, North Carolina-based pop/rock band Philmont announces the release of its latest offering, The Transition EP, October 19, 2010. An independent endeavor, the project is being partially funded by fans who have pledged more than $4,000 to date. The follow up to Philmont’s critically acclaimed ATTENTION (August 2009), The Transition EP delivers a high-energy, melodic pop sound with singable choruses like on debut single “You Will Remain,” currently vying for adds at Christian Hit Radio. Lyrically, the project ventures a bit more in-depth than previous Philmont efforts, touching on themes that include God’s divine nature, the case for creation and value of human life. Philmont frontman Scott Taube explains, “It’s been a couple of years since we wrote the majority of ATTENTION. We’ve experienced a lot in life since then- both joys and struggles–and we feel like this growth is reflected on the new EP.” Although Philmont has funded a majority of The Transition EP, fans have donated to the cause at Kickstarter.com, an interactive web site that serves as a funding platform for artists, designers, filmmakers, musicians, and journalists. Philmont’s fundraising campaign kicked off September 8 and has already received more than $4,000. The band will continue to accept pledges through October 10. To donate, go here. “We have been blown away by the response of fans to our Kickstarter campaign,” says Taube. “It’s been very humbling to see all the people who truly believe in our music and ministry get behind this project financially. We were able to hit our $4,000 goal in the first seven days of the project! Amazing!” The Transition EP will be available via digital music outlets as well as at Philmont.BigCartel.com and Philmont live shows. In addition to the radio single, Philmont will support The Transition EP with a self-produced music video in the coming months. Additional details are forthcoming. Formed in 2005, Philmont comprises Scott Taube (vocals), Josiah Prince (guitar/keys), Justin Sams (guitar), Josh Guion (bass), and Jeremi Hough (drums). The band released its first national label project, a digital EP titled Oh Snap, on Forefront Records in July 2008. The debut received rave reviews from critics while garnering two Top 5 Rock radio singles “I Can’t Stand to Fall” and “The Difference.” The following summer, Philmont released its first full-length CD, ATTENTION, producing the band’s third Top 5 Rock radio hit, “Where To Start.” Philmont has produced three successful music videos, breaking onto national music television charts for TVU and the Gospel Music Channel, while prompting a monthly web series on Steelroots.com called “Philmont Rising.” Additionally the band has also toured with acts including Pillar, Addison Road, Wavorly, Capital Lights and A Rotterdam November, while performing at every major Christian music festival as well as EO Youth Day–Europe’s biggest Christian youth event–and Flevo in The Netherlands. Philmont continues to tour more than 120 shows annually.

New Owl City video
Multi-platinum international sensation Owl City penned the song – “To the Sky” – to serve as the theme to Director Zack Snyder’s animation debut Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole (Warner Bros. Pictures/Village Roadshow Pictures). The song “To the Sky” is not only the soundtrack’s first single, but is also featured prominently within the film and then plays again as it soars over the end title sequence. Featuring themes and imagery from the film, the music video for Owl City’s “To the Sky” has just premiered on Vevo. Check out the soundtrack to Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole on September 21st on WaterTower Music and be sure to catch the film in theatres nationwide and IMAX on September 24th.

Tumbledown To Release “Empty Bottle” On October 26
Bremerton, WA’s TUMBLEDOWN wants to knock one back with their fans and celebrate the release of their new album, Empty Bottle via End Sounds on October 26. The rock & roll sounds of frontman Mike Herrera (MxPx, Arthur) and the band have never been more electric, and rightly so, Empty Bottle is a perfect display of that energy. Beginning today, fans can pre-order the new album Empty Bottle, produced by Mike Herrera, through Shockhound.com for a special low price. A limited edition LP version of Empty Bottle, also available on October 26 and features the same track listing but varied artwork, will be exclusively available through the label’s site endsounds.com, the band’s website tumbledownhq.com, and from the band at shows. Only 500 copies of the LP will be available with 100 pressed in special white vinyl. Each purchase of the vinyl album will come with a digital download of the entire album as well. After a relentless 2009 in which the band released their self-titled debut and a live album entitled, Live In Tulsa, in addition to touring in support of both, TUMBLEDOWN was ready to get back into the studio to start work on Empty Bottle. The music of Tumbledown takes that sepia-tinged image of Americana and sends it hurtling into the present, with the help of some punk-inflected riffs and pure rock & roll attitude. All of the album’s songs written on the road, the characters in Herrera’s songs drink to forget; they ask for a reason to stay in town without really expecting to get one; they look at the madness around them and wonder whether it’s them or the rest of the world that’s gone crazy. “I want to paint those colors that they’ve been missing but never knew were missing until they heard them on this new record and now life is never the same after that,” Herrera explains. “We have a good time each time we perform and we want our fans to have the same reaction while listening.” On Empty Bottle’s first single, “Arrested in El Paso Blues”, Herrera accompanied by Jack Parker on guitar and brothers Marshall and Harley Trotland on standup bass and drums, respectively, sings about country and roots music staples – drinking, fighting, gambling, ladies of the night and brushes with the law. From the full-frontal cowpunk attack of the opening cut, “Places In This Town,” where the narrator braves harm to body and soul but still finds strength to forge ahead, to closing track “Not Hung Over,” a classic morning-after-madness tale of a dizzy-headed drinking man’s denial, Empty Bottle offers an image of Americana that’s as true, tragic, tumultuous, and tantalizing. In celebration, the band will embark on a month long tour, kicking off in their hometown of Bremerton, WA with a Halloween-themed CD release party at Winterland. The tour will continue through the last week of November.

Manafest Continues The Chase With Worldwide Touring
After releasing his most aggressive and sonically evolved record to date earlier this year, BEC Recordings’ Manafest continues an upward climb as he tours worldwide and receives his highest charting radio single. Since the release of “The Chase,” Canadian native and JUNO-nominee Manafest has traveled to the United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan and United States. He will soon be jumping on tour with Superchick across the U.S this fall. The Superchick “Reinvention” tour will begin on September 22nd through October 30th. This tour adds to the 1,000+ shows that Manafest has already performed in his career. Radio has also climbed on board the Manafest train. The hit single, “Avalanche,” gave Manafest his highest charting single at CHR peaking at No. 4 (his first time to debut and chart in the Top 10 on CHR) as well as No. 10 on Rock. Air1 also fell in love with Manafest’s single as they debuted his music video for “Avalanche” earlier this year. You can view the video here. “The Chase” is produced by Adam Messinger (Chris Brown, JoJo, Justin Bieber) featuring gritty guitars, aggressive rhythms fusing rock and rap styles. Media have also raved about this album saying it is “his best work to date,” “has a good project on his hands,” and it “doesn’t get better than this.”

About Tooth & Nail Records:
What began in a bedroom over a decade ago has grown organically to become the enthusiastic support system behind many of the most important rock bands operating, including Underoath, Emery, Hawk Nelson, Thousand Foot Krutch and The Almost. With headquarters in Seattle and offices in Nashville, Tennessee and elsewhere, Tooth & Nail Records is also the parent company to Solid State Records (Demon Hunter, Haste The Day) and BEC Recordings (Jeremy Camp, Kutless). Label founder Brandon Ebel became immersed in the network of musicians, clubs, fanzines and promoters who were making waves with bands whose positive messages (whether translated through melodic punk or heavy rock) and creative, inspired music. Driven to this unique perspective, the music press has caught on and embraced many T&N bands the kids already knew. With new signings like Family Force 5, The Letter Black, Sent By Ravens and The Becoming injecting fresh life into the company, Tooth & Nail continues to be a vital, dominant presence in the contemporary music scene.
About BEC Recordings:
Originally launched as a more commercially minded side of Tooth & Nail Records in 1997, BEC Recordings has since expanded with its own identity into one of the music industry’s most celebrated imprints. BEC Recordings was placed on the map with artists such as Jeremy Camp, KJ-52, and Kutless when the label began to receive significant CHR or AC radio attention. BEC artists soon became a staple at both formats. Outside of breaking through in multiple radio formats (a trend that continued with Hawk Nelson, Adie, Seventh Day Slumber, Bebo Norman and many more) BEC also branched out to audiences from all walks of life, as evidenced by its increased presence in literally every facet of pop culture (including movie soundtracks, major retailer advertising campaigns and countless package tours).

Football fever is at a high as the 2010 Super Bowl XLIV nears on February 7, 2010. Thousand Foot Krutch’s music will be present at the Miami football party as the band’s hot song “Fire It Up” will be used in the arena on the jumbotron to pump up the crowd with a highlights video. This month, NFL Network has also used the song on NFL Total Access, NFL Nike Rewind and NFL Game Day Morning (see link below).

“Fire It Up” has also been featured in recent months in the summer blockbuster movie trailer for “G.I. Joe,” ESPN’s NASCAR Nationwide series, the Versus Network IndyCar race as well as a pre and in-game song for various sports teams (New York Islanders, Detroit Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs, Ottawa Senators, Seattle Sounders and Seahawks, UFC, and many others). This single has also brought chart success, giving TFK their fourth Top 20 hit on Active Rock radio including current top 10’s in Seattle, WA (KFNK), Santa Rosa, CA (KXFX), Burlington, VT (WLFE), and Denver, CO (KBPI), Chicago, IL (WIIL), Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (KEGL), Las Vegas, NV (KOMP) and Fresno/Visalia, CA (KRZR), and many other stations increasing spins.

As their most recent studio album “Welcome to the Masquerade” catapulted the band with many song placements, radio singles, year-end album mentions and reviews, TFK has also risen to the occasion on the touring market. With new booking agent Pardiagm Agency, the band has landed a tour with Breaking Benjamin in March (dates below). TFK is also replacing the Newsboys at the January 29 Winter Jam Spectacular Tour in Cleveland, Ohio. Also, starting March 25th, TFK will start their headlining tour through April 9th including special guests Since October, The Letter Black and Write This Down.
