Transformers
The celluloid “incarnation” of these immensely popular boy toys from millions of childhoods was done well enough to entertain a broader audience than the grown-up kids that’ll relive the old days. By throwing in a (albeit typical) boy-meets-girl storyline and killer cgi effects, this two-disc special edition garners the repeat viewing. I was impressed that this fantastic tale could be so watch-able. [Paramount] DV
