Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow

There’s not many DVD titles/movies that I actually don’t want to watch once it comes in, but this was one of them. Egads! This is a slow and tiring story, but kudos go to Producer Jon Avnet, cuz the vibe and look is cool in its own right (kinda like how Tim Burton forces his thumbprint on anything he touches). I have to admit, the villain building a modern day ark is an interesting biblical interpretation here. [Paramount] Doug Van Pelt
