Road To Redemption

When reviewing albums or DVDs, I'm painfully aware of what I've said about the other DVDs this issue. While I boasted that The Champion was the young Christian Film Industry's finest moment, Road To Redemption stands toe-to-toe with it. On a humorous romp from California to Arizona to Redemption, Montana, one girl, one grandfather, a boyfriend and a few mafia guys pull gags, chases, and engage in heartfelt conversation. You may have seen it on network TV in June. This is the proper context for this film's quality (think Touched By An Angel). It's good to see Grandpa's faith articulated to a skeptic with confidence, humor and honesty. I've been a fan of Billy Graham's World Wide Pictures, and have enjoyed watching the quality improve from Time To Run to The Prodigal to Road To Redemption. [World Wide Pictures / Doug Van Pelt]
