Offerings Experience, The

offering.jpg

Critiquing a worship album is weird enough, but trying to actually stand up in front of your tv monitor and worship to a DVD viewing is even more queer. Don’t fret, though, because this product isn’t designed for that. Even though this is called The Offerings Experience, it is nothing more than a live concert movie. But, as concert movies go, this one’s good. It’s got multiple angles, which you can toggle between for various views of the superb lighting; and the overall sound quality is good. In utilizing the versatility of the DVD format, Third Day gets an “A” grade (especially considering that this offering started as a DIY project between the band and Jupiter Project and CT Ventures). The extras include deleted (mostly humorous, behind the) scenes; personal bios; pictures; and a band commentary (which is really cool and informative); as well as Director, Editor, and DVD Author commentaries.
