Mystery Science Theater 3000, V.5
Poking fun at terrible, campy movies can be an artform. This DVD collection (the fifth such volume) is a case in point. Movies like The Touch Of Satan are so insanely bad that, if it were possible to cease believing in the existence of the devil this movie with its ridiculousness would accomplish just that feat. Like Dana Carvey’s “Church Lady” skits on SNL, the circumstances attributed to the prince of darkness are simply laughable. The fan of this show gets original theatrical trailers from four flicks (Boggy Creek II, Merlin’s Shop of Mystical Wonters, Time Chasers, and The Touch of Satan).
