Moto X Kids

I love motocross. I love kids. Heck, I even love monkeys. But watching this film with a friend of mine would have been a laborious waste of time had we not had each other’s company to make it through. I mean, any film with Lorenzo Lamas and Gary Busey and Dan Haggerty (Grizzly Adams) has got to be a recipe for disaster. But, for gosh sakes, my friend and I couldn’t bring ourselves to turning the darn thing off! We just had to find out if the kids team can beat the Malibu Pirates in a race where winner takes ownership of the youth camp / motocross track where they all learned to ride. When the top rider gets injured just before the big race, you’ll never guess who fills in. Unlike a good comedy film that you’ll want to view again and again to memorize lines and start ongoing inside jokes, this movie is an example of a funny experience two friends can laugh about (but only in the context of, “Can you believe how bad that movie was?”). Be warned: Life is precious; and the 82 minutes invested in this movie can never be returned.
