Looking into the future and posing ethical debates is one of the wonderful gifts of science fiction; and this movie excels at it. The extras for this one (a double-disc special) deliver on the hoped-for promise of digging into the created “reality” of this futuristic world. Some of the moral dilemmas that virtual reality brings up are explored, which can spark some spirited discussions on lust, hatred, and intentions of the heart. Tom Cruise seems to do a good job of landing some killer roles. I’d surely add this one to the list. [Doug Van Pelt - Dreamworks]
