Metallica: Some Kind of Monster
The warts ‘n’ all approach of this documentary is fascinating, as is the personal transformation and changes that James Hetfield goes through. This package is loaded with extra content, adding an extra seven(!) hours to the original 3+ hour movie. An incredible insight into the music business. Besides the inner workings of a band, we get to see new bassist Randy Trujillo receive a check for one million dollars as he agrees to join the band, as well as receiving equal (25%) voting rights, along with the other members. Wow. [Paramount] DV
