Sometimes over-the-top silliness is just what one needs for belly laughter and relaxation. In steps MIIB to meet this need. The movie pays homage to our God-given imaginations and the ability to create. Some great gags and special effects are in abundance. One can even find some philosophical concepts to keep discussions going on the existence of God, the natural inclination to worship, and (of course) the ethical question behind the destruction of an entire race. The menus on the dvd are brilliant. The second disc is truly packed: alternate ending, gag reel, 15 (count 'em) featurettes (viewable with a “load it yourself” jukebox style format, like P.O.D.'s dvd), a Will Smith video (of course), multi-angle scene deconstructions, and plenty of animation designed just for the dvd format.
