Memento

The fact that the main character [played by Guy Pearce] looks like the lost twin of Bruce Fitzhugh is the first clue that this movie is a mind trip. This guy cannot form new memories due to a head injury and is desperately trying to find his wife’s murderer. This thriller is woven together expertly to the point of putting the audience in the same confused state as poor Leonard. You’ll be guessing the outcome right up until the very last scene and then reaching for an aspirin. Brutal language and violence graphically earn this R rating. Recommended for the eclectic and mature. [ Colombia Tristar / Doug Van Pelt ]

Glad I'm not the only guy who thought homeboy looked like Bruce. Oh and great movie.

I found the movie was a great artistic piece. It is VERY disturbing and violent, but is also a wonderful example of good movie making. Very complex editing, remind me of Pulp Fiction. The story is also very solid and unique. I wouldn't recommend it to the overly sensitive folks. If you liked Pulp Fiction, you'll love this one.

I just knew that Guy looked familiar! Thanks for clearing that up for me. I just want to say that I agree with all the above reviews. This movie was very entertaining and kept me on my toes throughout. Say, if they ever make a movie about the life and times of Living Sacrifice....

Bwaa ha ha! Truly, it makes me feel good that somebody like DVP said what I thought when I first saw it...truly, the lead actor to lead singer comparison is terrifying, but I figured nobody I know would ever get it. Blah blah blah, it's a fantastic movie, and if you look for it hard enough, you can maybe find a psychology professor who has this incredible tape which shows a composer really suffering from this tape. He plays incredible music, and...promptly forgets it. Snap. (Ever felt that way in a moment of quiet composition?)

i love this movie!!! its very well taught and the way they put it together so you dont unferstand whats going on was amazing! i went and bought this the day after i saw it for the first time. and all i can say is it definately has a lot of replay value and was worth every penny.
