Megiddo : The Omega Code 2

In the context of today’s Israeli-Palestinean conflict, this movie was a trip to watch. According to the interview with writer Paul Crouch, this is the movie he’s been dreaming about making for years. As a supernatural thriller, it does really well competing with the likes of The Omen, etc. As the film transitions into an action war movie, however, it falls tv screen flat in its comparisons to Behind Enemy Lines or Black Hawk Down. CGI scripting can only take you so far with what I assume to be a limited budget (by Hollywood standards). I have to admit, though, the computer animation of the devil character looked pretty cool. Though the movie isn’t too long, there are several extras loaded, but all the interviews and documentaries are short and over in a flash. [8X Entertainment / Doug Van Pelt]
