Master & Commander
Visually and sonically, this epic tale of Captain “Lucky” Jack Aubrey is stunning to the senses. The exquisite packaging of the boxset (with a map of the journey and detailed program booklet) makes for quite a collector’s edition. At best, it ranks in the top 5 of DVD packaging. At worst, one can say they certainly did it right. Extras aplenty profile the adventurous life of the sea, deleted scenes, adding depth to a repeated viewing of the movie.
