LOST (Season One)
The hype and the accolades for this show seem a little over the top, but the storytelling is outstanding. The character profiles and anecdotes keep adding to the “value” and interest of the mystery. The extras help, too. While the action isn’t as heart-pounding as 24, the suspense is right up there.

Your review of lost seems a little lacking. There is so much going on on Lost that it's absolutely amazing. Characters are intertwined in ways that you would never imagine, the character development is top notch, and wonderful storytelling. I also believe it to have a lot of spiritual relevance. That's one of the great things about this show, you can view it how you want and come up with your own theories, many of which revolve around a spiritual theme(purgatory, good people taken and the bad people are left, etc).
