This is a story that had to be told (maybe someday filmmakers will tackle one of the many stories within Christian alt-rock/metal’s history). While succombing to the glitz and drugs of skateboarding celebrity isn’t exactly rated-G pretty, it’s the truth. When it comes to action sport stories dramatized into movies, this one comes closer than its predecessors in keeping the cool from turning into cheese.
