Joe Somebody

Imagine getting beat up (as an adult) in the parking lot where you work — in front of your daughter on "Bring Your Daughter To Work Day," no less! This humiliating scenerio happens to Joe Sheffer (Tim Allen), who later challenges his opponent to a rematch. The resulting acclaim and treatment from his co-workers changes Joe, but those closest to him don't like what he turns into. One of his shallow superiors at work tries to deter his plans, spouting, "We suppress these things, and then we go home and drink. That's what separates us from the animals." Overall, the movie is sometimes slow, but heartwarming nonetheless. As with most comedies, the deleted scenes and other extras successfully pull a few more laughs out of the DVD.
