This documentary, sub-titled, The Life and Death of a Hippie Preacher, is long on chronicling the acts of the Holy Spirit in the early 70s Jesus Movement, and short on the AIDS / homosexuality controversy surrounding this beloved but overlooked pioneer evangelist that inspired the film in the first place. This final packaging of the DVD is going to be different than any previous versions shown to the press or at film festivals, thanks to the professional editing of the PBS folks. Unfortunately, they couldn't get the final rights to all the great Larry Norman music originally cast.
