Extreme Ops

This movie ain't a good one. It had promise. Yes, it gives many frames, angles and reasons to thank the Lord for creating Bridgette Wilson-Sampras' beautiful face (although the same can't be said for Joe Absolom's bare behind in that "Truth or Dare" scene); and yes, the plot promises intrigue and action; and the drama does move along at a great pace for a good long while; but the climax to the story is wanting. "Is that it?" pops up right after the quick and "it's over before you know it" conclusion. While the final few minutes ruins the picture, there is plenty of hot snowboarding and extreme sports action. One can't help but be impressed with the skills and bravado displayed on film here. Insane tow-rope snowboarding (a la wakeboarding style) behind a speeding train shows up, as does skateboarding atop a moving train -- complete with olley-ing over the gaps between train cars and letting the board fly out upon exit, strategically sending the board right through the mouth on a billboard face. The showboating gives the film some life, but the ending and complete lack of extra features take it down in flames.
