Day After Tomorrow, The

Propaganda piece for global warming or good adventure movie? As the former, it’ll frighten the uneducated. As for the latter, it works, but just barely. The script calls for some unbelievable special effects, that’s what we get. The characters, however, provide some human drama. A great rental. [Fox Video] DV

Going into it, I was very excited about this movie. The preview was amazing, and it had been along time since i saw a good movie. Then I actually SAW the movie. I should have stopped while I was ahead. Because what I saw was a major disappointment. The movie itself I didn't feel was that great at all. The animation was horrible. [yes, those wolves looked really real...not.] Ok maybe i'm being childish, but seriously this movie was not worth the $10 I payed for both mine and my girlfriends ticket. I would rather go watch one of Micheal Moore films more than see this movie. (I am not a Bush fan, but just don't like Moore). Overall I give the movie a 4 out of 10. And that's just because watching huge ice chunks falling from the sky was awesome. But hey, I guess the "Keep the world clean" groups are happy with the publicity the movie got. Probaly not the reviews though.

This movie wasn't realistic.... the wolves were retarted. The special effects were nice... besides the wolves ofcourse. It was entertaining.

This movie wasn't as bad as some people make it out to be. It's basically what I expected; amazing special-effects and a plot that didn't seem very convincing.

If you like movies that show a lot of big-city destruction, then this one's for you; Los Angeles....destroyed, New York City...flooded and frozen, everywhere in between....buried in snow.

If you watch this on a big screen with surround sound and don't analyze the plot, you'll probably enjoy it.
