Daddy Day Care

105 DVD Daddy Daycare.jpg

An amazing thing about this movie is that it had no cuss words in it. Eddie Murphy has come a long way, people! While predictable and falling a little short on some sight gags and perhaps hitting too far on some character parodies, this is still a lot of laughs. Steve Zahn becomes the unlikely hero in the story and subsequently a star of the movie with his devil-may-care attitude and commitment to the kids. One of the best parts, though, has to be the fabulous cameo performance by Cheap Trick. Lots of extras make for even more fun, with an animated short called "Early Bloomer," and featurettes with kids talking about working with Eddie Murphy. Add to this a few Remote Control Games ("Name the Noise Maker" and "Kid Card Match Up" and "Odd One Out") and you’ve got a dvd for the whole family. (So why was it rated PG?)
