CSI: NY (Season One)
Jerry Bruckheimer’s crew took the CSI formula and turned yet another hit with CSI: NY. Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) runs a likeable crew, complete with NY attitude and unflinching yet tender tough chicks like Stella Bonasera (Melina Kanakaredes) and Aiden Burn (Vanessa Ferlito), who don't flinch at gore or the innuendo-laced harassment dished out by their male co-workers. The power of resolution is used well in each episide, with the compassion of these case-workers presented ever so deftly. The ability to fly through episodes and documentaries magnifies the character development.
