Beyond The Gates

This one is intense at beginning, middle, end, and even long after it’s over. Starting a lively conversation after this one shouldn't be too hardShowing people do something extraordinary in the midst of a horrible situation bridges that middle ground between where we can relate to what the character does as well as the unbelievable choices they later make. Seeing the priest present communion to the village before they are left defenseless against wicked thugs is profound. The younger character wrestling with his decision and even later being quietly confronted with it is heavy and attractive with its honesty. The extras are great additions. [Fox Video] DV
