Here I Come Falling

Oh Grave, Where Is Thy Victory
The young Missouri-based screamo act Here I Come Falling consolidates all of the right elements: snappy dirty rock licks, electronic undertones, and chorus breaks interlaced by metallic bruteness or melodic soars –and that’s all within the first track of their debut album Oh Grave Where Is Thy Victory. The album thoroughly continues the format on the rest of the songs and vocalist Colby Moore never relents his screaming fervor. But it’s only when keyboardist Jeff Choate dominates with his layered synths and tenor relief voice such as on “There’s A Lion On The Loose,” does the tone exceptionally take off. Overall the album could be stamped as a sub par clone of Underoath’s They’re Only Chasing Safety, but that should be endured as a well-earned compliment. [Rise] Dan Frazier

I know these guys and they are by far some of the greatest musicians, and also great friends, as well as devout Christians! these guys definitaley deserve everything they have been blessed with and they will be around for a long time and bring much more great music along with them!!!

these guys are awesome. i only started knowing them when i got the last issue. but since then taking to them on myspace and listening and learning what they are truly about is an awesoe thing that many bands dont have. oh grave where is the victory is a must by not only because the music is sick, but because they are awesome dudes!
