Glenn Kaiser Band

Octane
I can’t claim to be one of Glenn Kaiser’s fans that have stuck with him since he first started making music before he hit twenty-I just hit that mark myself- and I haven’t lined my shelves with his countless albums, in fact I’ve had a hard time getting into Glenn Kaiser Band at all-but I do dig the harmonica. GKB’s sixth album is fueled by husky vocals and driven passion. With encouraging lyrics like those in ‘Broken Love,’ “…God’s love can still be found, it’s all around us to heal the broken love,” its no wonder GKB is on a roll. Octane is skillful musicianship with upbeat rock n’ roll tracks like ‘U-Turn,’ ‘Roller Coaster,’ and ‘Street Corner Blues.’ Along with blues songs like, ‘Stand by the Window’ and ‘What can be Shaken.’ GKB has incorporated an attitude of worship into funky rockin’ blues.
