BLOODLINED CALLIGRAPHY

Hopefully you’ve never heard of this band, because I want it to be my pleasure to introduce them to you. This is one of the best EPs I’ve heard in a long time, and if its purpose is to gain an interest in the band, it solidifies their spot on any “bands to watch” list. This is the way metalcore should be done. It’s chaotic at parts, ridiculously fast in others, and is a party to listen to all the way through. The first song on this five-song EP is like a taste of what’s to come, dropping ridiculous drumming and metal riffs, and as the CD continues, the songs get better and better. “Isaac is the Champ” has some of the best riffs I’ve heard in a while, moving flawlessly and precisely throughout its structure. And no matter how close you listen, you’ll never even realize the singer’s a girl. [STRIKE FIRST]

Ally definitely knows how to rock out. She's doing it just as good, if not better, than any guy in the metalcore scene today. This is a great CDep, and it hints of great things to come from Bloodlined Calligraphy. I look forward to a full-lenght release.

yeah, i was casually walking by the Rock For Life stage at Cornerstone when i heard some of the most insane metalcore stuff ever. my friends and i looked at the stage and our jaws dropped in disbelief and we were all like "no way..." when we saw that it was a chick doing all that growling. i'm really not much of a metalcore fan, but this group really impressed me. best of luck to them!

I love this band, i saw them at sunshine at the HM stage they really are Good, i would love to go back to one of thier shows any time. I have my friends hear them and they can't belive that its a girl. but i love them and i can't wait to see them one more time.

Yeah, BLC is amazing! That chick rawks!!! That is a tight EP. It is like the new EP coming out from EVERSINCEVE. It isnt out yet, but I heard a couple tracks, and you guys wanna talk about jaw dropping??!?! Yeah, go out and buy BOTH albums!!!!!!!!!!!!!
