Once you have scanned the entire battlefield and acquired a target, remove the pin located near the top of your fragmentation grenade. At this point, you have only seconds to hurl the bomb in the direction of your adversary. The next step in this process is perhaps the most vital in your own survival; take cover! Repeating procedures like this while adapting to harsh accommodations is how wars have been won, and history thus made. Naturally, as time has passed, the technology of weapons used to decimate your enemies has traveled leaps and bounds. In the hands of a cunning madman, however, destructive devices beyond our wildest imaginations are born. The fuse-lighting, pin-pulling powers behind Facedown Records are just such madmen, and they have unveiled their newest threat. Facedown stands at the threshold of tomorrow possessing a most volatile instrument of destruction; Sinai Beach. From Riverside, California, Sinai Beach throws a flailing tantrum like one you have never witnessed. What's that you say? You like metal influenced hardcore? That's great, but here's one thing you need to understand; listening to Sinai Beach's debut, When Breath Escapes, is like stepping into the ring with a nine hundred pound grizzly bear. Feigning death isn't going to get you out of this one, either, and running will just ensure that you die tired. Sinai Beach fuses sick metalcore riffing with an inescapable attack of double pedal lashes and tormented vocals. Yet, while you're receiving the most relentless pounding of your lifetime, melodic singing swoops in to taunt you. Don't worry, that's only a prelude to your next beating. It's like sitting in the corner while your coach douses your bruised face with water. "You're gonna' make it, kid," he says with a hint of uncertainty in his voice, "Hang in there!" Around this time that you start to think that maybe this gargantuan beast isn't so tough, and maybe you can stay on your feet long enough to see the end of this. It's at that precise moment that the bear stands on his hind legs. Fully erect he equals the combined height of two grown men. The bell rings and the next round begins. Unfortunately, before your brain can tell your fist to swing, a jaw full of fangs finds its way into deep your skull. Although words cannot escape your mouth, the look in your eyes sends the signal that it's time to throw in the towel. One final gasp exits from your lungs and whistles past what few teeth you have left. Congratulations, you have just survived an encounter with Sinai Beach, now pack up and go home. You should consider taking a sturdy pair of tweezers with you; you'll need them to carefully excavate the claws that the bear so kindly left inside you as a souvenir. With a name that has been attracting a lot of attention, Sinai Beach has declared their weapon of mass destruction: music that is disturbingly hard-hitting. Bullets don't hit this hard.

Yes, Sinai Beach rules. Pre-odered the CD, got it two weeks ago and it is basically all i listen to now. Saw'em live last Thursday. Brutal. I loved every minute. Without any doubt whatsoever the best show and best cd so far this year. And that is the biggest understatement so far this year.

Holy Moly. Sinai Beach is going to carry Facedown Records into the new millenium. The uncompromisable metal riffs, the double bass, and the velociraptor vocals c/o C.J. Sinai Beach is indeed worthy of a slow clap from all of us.

Crapola guys, everyone in here that knows what hXc is needs to listen to Sinai Beach right now. And after that, check out some of their older stuff on mp3.com because it's just as good. I seriously seriously wanna call them my favorite band, if not for Norma Jean being around. I saw them a few weeks ago in Tulsa, and the show was indescribable.

I love Sinai Beach. I got their CD almost a month early from the show I went to. It was a rad show. But I have to admit, out of all the new metal/hardcore bands comin' up on Facedown, I'm more into Fallling Cycle.

Yeah, Sinai Beach is amazing....well, as amazing as any metalcore band get's. I think that all of this mixing the energy of hardcore and the passion of metal is really getting out of had. Now we have all of these "metalcore" bands running around like rabid monkeys trying to spread their disease through the ears of the young people of this generation. Unfortunatley it's working, making it harder for people like me to find the good bands. But Sinai Beach is one metalcore band that I have not been dissapointed by........and nither will you.

I like the beach. It is nice in the summer time. I like wet sand between my toes and a stiff breeze blowing past my face. Children laugh, run and play. A seagul flies on down the beach. It attacks a womans picnick basket like yogi bear. What? Sinai Beach? Oh i've never heard of that before... Maybe if i remember to check them out when i get home from this boring boring boring class im in i might like this beach thing... maybe.
