Intern Diaries: Kelly Benson

08.29.06
Whew. Well, I just finished packing my car and I'm ready to go. I guess that means my internship is over.
That's how Doug told me to finish out my intern diaries. So, yeah. I am done. Tonight I'll drive to Dallas and tomorrow...Nebraska! This experience has been really great for me. I feel like I learned a ton and I got to do some amazing things like help out at Cornerstone and fly to interview Skillet. I'm such a rock star. Doug and I celebrated by making and consuming large amounts of chocolate chip cookies (much in the same way we celebrated Rand's departure). Man, I love eating cookies. Yeah, this internship was mostly about cookies.
Oh yeah, the web site should be fully updated soon. You can read a much longer version of my Cornerstone review here. There's more pictures too! Enjoy, friends! To the Heartland!

Entry number duce for this fine Monday. Today began with an intense dissection of Fox's hit show Prison Break with Doug. I spent this weekend watching the entire first season on DVD. It consumed my life. I couldn't stop. The first day I watched 8 episodes. That's disgusting. Little did I know season two has already started! It crept up on me from behind the shadows like a seedy inmate in Fox Rivers Prison. If you haven't seen this show, I suggest you sit down in front of your tv tonight...because it's on. Actually you'd be really lost. You're going to need to spend a weekend watching Season 1 first. Once your eyes dry out from staring at the screen and your body goes numb, it's really easy to fly through those 24 epidsodes.
The rest of my day was spent working on the Podcast Rate Card (which probably means nothing to you) and getting things ready for the web site. See, now that the September/October issue is out (that's right, it's out) we need to update the web site with new reviews/articles/pictures. So, check it out in the next couple days.
Tomorrow I start my long journey back to Nebraska. My internship will soon be over. I will talk more about that later. Tonight, I have to plan my escape, and if I've learned anything from Prison Break, it's that the details are everything. Since tattooing a road map on my body is kind of out of the question, I will be visiting mapquest and making a laser jet print............um...........watch Prison Break.

I've been doing a very bad job of updating this thing lately. To try to make amends, I will write two, TWO entries today. This mornings entry will feature a couple voice mail messages from Doug Van Pelt to me. Click it!

Today I wrote my ActionReaction story. It's pretty short but for some reason it took me a really long time to figure out what I was going to say. But I said it, oh yes, I said it. Doug and I went over my tasks for the rest of my time here. It is a short list as I only have a short time left. So after I wrote for awhile, I let my fingers wander over to our myspace to sift through the 8 pages of friends requests and 70 email messages.
We got our copies of the September/October issue last week. It's so awesome to hold what you've been working on for so many weeks. It's a neat feeling. Sigh.
08.16.06
Oh man. We're at the two week countdown here folks. Time has flown by!
This morning was spent working on the enewsletter and now that I'm typing this I realized that I didn't ever really finish it. The rest of the day I worked on my Skillet story which is coming along famously. Famously!
Recently Doug and I have been throwing cd's in the yard. Whenever Doug finds a pile of cd's in his office that are worthless we see who can throw them the farthest. I'm really bad at it. The amount of disks in the grass is beginning to climb and they can be seen shining as they catch the sun. I like it. It's like tiny grass reflectors. I wonder if Mr. Yellow Crop Duster can see them from the sky.
08.14.06
I returned from my Illinois rock star adventure with Skillet this morning. I had a fantastic time. What swell kids. Wanna know what happened? Well, my friend, you will just have to read the November/December issue of HM Magazine (due out at the end of October). Subscribe!
When I returned, I found Doug doing yard work so I decided to take a little nap. That little nap turned into a 2 1/2 hour nap which I desperately needed. I've been running on 3-4 hours of sleep the last few nights and a whole lot of caffeine. Although I only worked about three hours today, I actually got a lot done. I'm now in Rand's old office since mine is crazy and I cleaned out his inbox (seriously, 148 messages? Come on!). I then played catch up with stuff in my inbox (my physical inbox and my email one). Then I finished off the day by writing my little Arrested Development Season 3 review. Now? Sleep.
08.10.06
Today was Rand's last day. We celebrated (mourned) by making and consuming large amounts of chocolate chip cookies (again!). Rand, you will be missed but let's not forget that special Michael W. Smith song that has once before been mentioned in my intern diary, "And friends are friends forever if the Lords the Lord of them." It's so true. Whenever I see Judge Mathis or make Roman noodles, I will fondly think of your humorous criticisms.
Well, kids. This weekend I will truely be a rock journalist as I board a plane for St. Louis to interview Skillet. Since I'm flying there it will probably be assumed that this is a face to face interview. I like these. They're playing at SHOUTfest outside of St. Louis so I'll be getting a rental car/hotel for this little venture. I'm excited. I'm going to pretend I'm that guy on Almost Famous who get's to go on tour with that one band and all these crazy things happen to him. "Fever daaawg..." That one was for you Doug.
In other news, our band changed our name to The Cookies. We've got a myspace now. Check it out at http://www.myspace.com/hmband. We're still working on it but you can hear the recording we did yesterday. My personal favorite is "Clap, clap you've got the claps." "Noise Is A Girl's Best Friend" is good too. That's all.
08.09.06
Doug, Rand, and I started a band today. We will....rock you like a hurricane. We did some promo shots and recorded a few songs. I think the mp3's will be up at some point. I'm not really sure when. I'm not sure the world is ready for something this awesome. Here's a sample of our photo shoot. Try not to be jealous of how tough we are. Introducing "The I Don't Know."

In the photos I sing, but Rand threw a huge fit when it came time to record. He was all, "I wanna be the front man." His lyrics come straight from the pages of the June/July issue of HM Magazine. I ended up playing drums on the album and Doug played the daisy guitar. We played so flawlessly that we even had time to make and consume chocolate chip cookies. That's just how we roll.
08.08.06
I almost have all the writers and publicists contacted! This means that interviews will be had and stories will start rolling in for the next issue. Today I finished up questions for my big story, designed this heading thing for the podcast, wrote two album reviews and my 30 Days review. I also took pictures of Rand and Doug as they ran around the property. That was about it. Just a normal Monday...........upon looking at the calendar, I now know that it is Tuesday.
08.07.06
There is nothing more intimidating than a super hipster coffee house. This weekend I ventured to the ironically named Spider House Cafe which was supposed to be pretty cool. I should have known by the name that I wouldn't like it. Everyone looked at me like, "Who does she think she is tryin' to drink our coffee." It was one of those places where if you don't already know how things work, you should just leave. I didn't leave. I got my coffee. I got my chips and hummus...and then I left. Spider House, your coffee is good but your hummus is not. Someday I will be cool enough to sit in your graffiti decorated booths.
I sent five billion emails today. I was contacting writers about their stories and publicists about their bands. I also started writing out questions for my interviews and I listened to a cd I'm going to review. Who's gonna review season 3 of Arrested Development? ME! I'm so excited to laugh.
08.03.06
Thursday marks the weekend for us here at the HM Ranch. Tomorrow will be the first day I get to sleep in since I've been to Texas. I'm so excited for sleep! Today I rocked some buddy icons and did some research on the band I'm covering for the next issue. I'm really excited for this story. Doug also told me I can review the 30 Days DVD. It's by that guy that did Super Size Me. I watched the first episode last night and if we rated things in thumbs ups, this would get two of mine high in the air....so far. I hope Morgan's handle bar mustache doesn't let me down.
Today Big R, Doug and I had a Bible study. It was really cool. We decided that the disciples were kinda stupid...like us. It makes me feel okay to be human. Come on! Jesus says, "Hey, the one I give this bread to is going to betray me." He then gives the bread to Judas and tells him to leave and the disciples are all, "Sooo....who's it gonna be?" Silly. Alright. I'm out. This weekend I'll be featured pool side at my cousin's house. You might also catch me shopping. Tax free weekend! Tally ho!
08.02.06
Jesus wears boxer-briefs.
There's a Jesus that sits by the typewriter and today Rand revealed that Jesus wears boxer-briefs. I laughed so hard. Those of you that know me know that I love to laugh...and do it often. Dear Diary...
We began planning for the next issue today. Let me just tell you that this issue is going to be incredigood. Can you say, "Two cover bands?" I can...and will. I'm going to be writing a story on the cover band for the back...or is it the front? Confused? I guess you'll just have to make sure you get the November/December issue of HM. (shameless plug).
Today I also thought about making buddy icons and then kinda did but then decided to re-do this chart thing instead. Then I transcribed an interview with Sting that Doug did. Sting the wrestler, not the singer. I just happened to be wearing my Sting shirt today...which is why I got to transcribe the interview. I also made a "business" type call. That was exciting. I sounded important.
08.01.06
It's August. That's crazy.
Today Doug took Rand and I to Pirates of the Caribbean II, but let's talk about this new movie SNAKES ON A PLANE! It sounds terrify....hilarious. I hope it's the highest grossing movie EVER.
The rest of today was spend checking e-mails, listening to some indie cd's and wrestling with my computer. Not literally wrestling, figuratively. It seems it doesn't want to do anything I want it to. Good thing I brought my mac with me. Ew. There's a silhouette of a grasshopper on the window in front of me and I can tell it's missing a very important leg. It's struggling. So, that's today.
If you look at the bottom of hmmag.com you might see my animated banner. It's the one about the HM podcast (which you can download for free!). It's the first ever banner I've made soooo....marvel, wonder, be awe inspired. If it doesn't show up, just refresh the page until it does cause it's on a cycle thingy.
07.31.06
This entry is dedicated to Doug, who called me and Rand Schmucks for not posting the last few days, for being a crazy-deadline-killin'-machine and for dancing in my office while holding drum sticks just now. As of today, the September/October issue of HM Magazine is finished! Celebrate! We are. Doug is taking us to a movie tomorrow DURING work hours! Things...might get a little crazy. I like to think we're all celebrating a little bit on our own too. For instance, I'm listening to Madonna right now, Rand is taking out the trash and Doug is singing in a high pitched voice in his office. We know how to party.
The last few days I helped tie up loose ends wherever I could. It was mostly proof reading which is ridiculous because I'm probably the worse person to ever proof read anything. So, if there's mistakes in the next issue, it's probably my fault. Friday I worked on a full page ad for our merch which I'm really proud of. That doesn't happen too often for me when it comes to design...wait, maybe I did that on Thursday. I've kinda lost track of all time and space. In this next issue I have 11 cd reviews, the Cornerstone review with 5 of my photos (there should also be an online version soon with more pictures), a feature story, one DVD review, a review of 8 different bands on indie labels for our Pick of the Litter section, one full page ad design and a little heading thingy that I designed. I'm excited to see it all printed out.
07.25.06
This morning started out with one more cup of coffee than I'd normally drink and a Michael W. Smith movie (and friends are friends forever, if the Lord's the Lord of them...) that I reviewed. Then I reviewed a band called The Devil Wears Prada. Fortunately the only thing I didn't like about them was their name. I feel like I was really productive today but I can't remember what else I did. Rest assured that it was super awesome and important. This evening I ate shrimp tacos with my cousin at Chuys!
07.24.06
Doug and I worked again on Friday which is unusual but since it's deadline we needed to get extra stuff done. Friday night I went to The Appleseed Cast/Criteria show in Austin at Emo's. It was very hip.
I worked for a few hours on Saturday and then the rest of the weekend was spent being completely immersed in everything Texas. I stayed the night with my Cousin and her husband in Cedar Park and, after making me the best dinner ever in their gigantic home, they took me downtown. We went from bar to bar seeing live band after live band all along 5th and 6th street. I think it's a rule that cover bands MUST cover Lynard Skynard's Sweet Home Alabama. You gotta do it. We finally settled on a bar called Ego's that's hidden underneath a parking garage. We saw Two Hoots and a Hollar play (if that's not Texas, I don't know what is). They were a rock-a-billy band and, although there was no dance floor, people were country swing dancing at a level that I could never even hope to achieve.
Sunday, after eating home made blueberry pancakes, I went with my cousin to a Baptist church that had a huge choir and an organ! We went to a Sunday School class that was filled with the nicest southern ladies you could ever meet. They all talked with thick southern accents and wore really bright colors with lipstick to match. After church we went out to eat with some of them. My big hair finally felt at home. That night, I tried out a church for people my age in Georgetown called Terranova. It was swell and I'll probably go back there. I met some nice folks. All in all it was a great weekend.
Today, we're at it again. Rand is back from camp so Doug and I have a little extra help. Most of my day was spent wading through 88 pages of e-mails (down from 102) to pick out interesting news bites for the magazine and writing the Pick of the Litter section where we do short reviews of bands on Indie labels. I also tried to contact different publicists to get photos of bands, did inventory on CD's and ate a burrito. Tonight will probably be another late night of working as we still have tons to do. Who needs sleep? Scientists will tell you that everyone does, but they're nerdy so who cares?
07.20.06
Oopsy. I forgot to post yesterday. It wasn't that eventful. This week and next week is "deadline week" so Doug and I have been working longer hours. On Wednesday I worked a 15 hour day (Doug worked even longer...I fell asleep. I'm kinda wimpy). Today has flown by though and I've already been working 13 hours. I'm like an amazing-working-wonder-machine!
Spider update: Doug found another 3 incher by the door today but I didn't see it so I like to think that it didn't exist.
Biscuit Buddy Magilicutty (the dog) joined us in the office. I thought he wanted to eat my food but he really just needed to go to the bathroom. Today was mostly about the design for me. I made a little heading thingy, slapped together a "temporary" design for the sampler cd (it may change), and laid out a.....uh.......thing for this other thing. I also learned how to make animated banners for the web site which I should probably be working on now. And, lastly, I cut down my four page Cornerstone review to 500 works for the magazine. That was hard. That's about it, friends.
07.18.06
You'll all be happy to know that I had a spider free night last night and slept very well. Doug and I are working a little later than normal today as we only have a week and a half till deadline. Apparently it gets crazy the week the magazine goes to press.
Today I began working on the design for the sampler cd that will accompany the september/october issue. I also wrote another album review and took inventory of more cd's that we got in. Currently I'm listening to a stack of cd's and evaluating whether they're good enough to review in the magazine.
Sorry this entry is kinda bland. Um...I also listened to a lot of DragonForce today and the farmers down the road are making millions of hay bails. It looks neat.
07.17.06
Let's just take a minute to talk about the spider I found by my bed last night. It was huge. My guess is it was about three inches and of the Wolf Spider variety. I can honestly say I've never seen a spider that big that wasn't in a cage or pinned to a piece of foam. So, I freaked out. When I was done doing that I ran to the kitched and got both bottles of bug spray and soaked the beast. It ran into the curtains and I lost track of it. That's when I decided that I would sleep on the couch. I had spider dreams all night but thankfully I found it curled up, dead, on the floor this morning. The country is a strange place.
Last night I promoted the magazine at a Kevin Max show in Austin. Doom to Bloom and Dalton opened up the show. They were pretty alright...I guess. I learned some things about Kevin Max though. He is much shorter than you would imagine him being. He still has the same hair cut he had in the Jesus Freak days. He's getting older.
Today I finished up my cd reviews, wrote my Krystal Meyers feature, typed up a list of new e-mail addresses , filed some stuff and took inventory of a stack of cd's that we had come in. I feel like I got a lot accomplished. I have a few designey things that I get to do but I will have to tackle those tomorrow.
07.13.06
I arrived in Texas yesterday with my mom. Doug's wife got us settled into the office and we went grocery shopping in a nearby town. We got lost on the way home and had to call Charlotta for directions and realized that we had just turned too soon. Oh well, the best way to feel out a new place is to get lost. Right?
While my mom cleaned almost the entire office (I think she was bored), I waded through my first day of work. This morning started with trying to get my e-mail set up, which never actually happened. Doug is away at a festival and wasn't able to help me by phone and Rand, the other intern, couldn't figure it out either. Rand is nice. Rand, you're nice. For the majority of the day I wrote my review of Cornerstone Festival and transcribed an interview I did while I was there. Transcribing is not very fun, especially when you can barely hear what is being said on the tape. Note to self: hold the recorder closer to the artist's mouth and pull away if they have a loud laugh. I also have two cd's on my desk that I need to write reviews of. It's kinda weird to think that what I write could have an effect on whether or not someone buys an album. Yeah, that's power.
Tonight my mom and I will venture to Cedar Park to eat with my cousin and then spend the rest of the weekend in Austin, chillin'. Just chillin'.
07.10.06
I'm feeling a bit of pressure writing this first intern diary entry. I've been told that first impressions are everything. I can't find the spell check on this thing so don't judge me by mis-spelled words. Let me just throw caution to the wind and introduce myself. My name is Kelly and I just graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I focused on photography and graphic design and in the end I received a piece of paper that says I'm good at art. I worked at our school paper for six semesters in college (The Daily Nebraskan) as a photographer and was a senior photographer for two of those semesters. Although I never studied journalism, working for the paper taught me things that no class ever could. Newspaper are cool, but I've always been more interested in magazines. Upon my graduation, I realized I had no idea what I was going to do with my life. I knew, and still know, that whatever I do needs to involve people, God, art, music and overall have a purpose. A conversation with former intern, Francis Schoonveld (I know I'm spelling that wrong but...) I knew that an internship with HM would be the perfect fit for me. So, here I am.
I actually started last Monday at Cornerstone Festival in Bushnell, Illinois. I had a fantastic time. Doug and his family are incredible people and it was really great getting to know them in that environment. That week gave me the opportunity to do a lot of the things I really love: meet people, talk about God, take pictures, hear amazing music and get really gross and sweaty doing it. I will be writing a review of the fest shortly and hopefully putting up some of my pictures on the web site so stay tuned.
I'm currently in Nebraska (still recovering from Cornerstone), but will begin my journey to Texas tomorrow. Barring any unforseen mishaps, I will be posting my next entry from the HM office.

I have decided it's time for you to come home...I miss you already.
hope you are having fun with Lois!

Hey Kelly, Hope you enjoy your internship! I interned there last summer for a couple months, and it was probably one of the best times of my entire life. I loved working with Doug so much, even though he's absolutely nuts! It made work lots more fun. He'd come in every few days with a stack of "autographed" press photos from cheesy and obscure artists. One was from a hair metal band and said "Tim- Remember Cleveland? I'll never forget" and then was "signed" by the band. Basically a lot of that kinda craziness. I LOVED getting to know Frances, she's an awesome girl. Take care!
By Kelly
Thanks Dad! I love you too!
Mirms, I miss you like whoe.
Tim, hello! Francis told me all about you and I actually read your intern diary before I started this thing. I'm having a blast so far. It's kinda funny cause Francis took over my job back home. Weird.
By Janalynn
Hey Kelly!

Just wanted to let you know that I am proud of you. You also seem to be a good writer......I've enjoyed your diary so far.
Love you

Thanks Daddy-do.

i totally encountered a spider of the wolf variety when it crawled out of the shower drain right as i was about to get in it. even though it was about half the size of yours, i still used about half a can of raid to kill it.
i miss you. it sounds like you're busy. but i think i'm going to call you anyway.
i love you!
By Ruthie
Just wanted you to know I'm praying for you.=)

I'm sorry I forgot to warn you about the spiders Kelly!! Tim always laughed at me because I drowned them in chemicals and screamed at them as they shriveled to their death. Yeah, they're gross. Well, look forward to fun times ahead, because get ready, they're coming. :) Drop me a line if you feel like it. As Clote would say, Adios!
By michael
So when will we see the artwork you're doing? And will there be spiders in any of the designs?
By Kim
Kelly! Now that I know all about your world, when I call you, I will do all the talking! Just kidding! I am glad you have so much cool work. I told my Nursing assitant class that I like Indie music and no one knew what it was. I give you all the credit for getting me into good music and keeping me cool! Can't wait to hear your voice!
By Tim
Hope things are still going well at the internship. Has Doug given you any "autographed" press photos from obscur musicians yet? I got several a week last summer. Drop me an email sometime, you guys seem cool....of course ALL interns at HM are.
By Kelly
Ha. Yes, I have gotten several autographed photos from bands. But, they're all real. Doug and I always talk about how popular I am when he puts them on my desk. I really am...popular. He almost got one today but the band wasn't sure if he's need the photo so they just left it blank.
By Nathan
If I can proof read, so can you. Congradulations on a job well done!
-Nathan.

Well good, I am glad Hm interns are still receiving proper amounts of respect from obscur musicians worldwide. Has Doug given you a hard time about being from Nebraska yet? He and I ganged up on Frances all the time since we're die hard fans of the NATIONAL CHAMPION TEXAS LONGHORNS! ;) How long are you guys going to be interning for? I was thinking about possibly visiting on like the 21st-ish or 22nd. I dunno though. I haven't mentioned it to Doug, but i really miss the old office, especially reading about all the cool stuff you're getting to do that i used to do. Guess who did the art on the back of the issue you just finished?!?!?!? Anyway, you and Rand seem cool. Email me at Drummerjack313@yahoo.com if you get bored....not that 's possible with Doug

To Tim:
The only time Doug makes fun of me is when I say something silly and he says, "What are you, from Nebraska or something?" Usually he says this after I say "pop" instead of "soda." You should definately visit us. Rand's last day is Thursday so Doug and I will be in mourning (read: celebrating.....just kidding Big R).
To Katrina:
I miss you too!

from my understanding, this next season of 30 days will involve morgan trying out some form of the christian religion. unless he's already done that. but i wouldn't know because i only saw supersize me, and the part where he threw up the double quarter pounder with cheese was enough for me to NEVER eat at mcd's again. i didn't even have to finish the rest of the movie...and i think it happened on day 3.
anyways, just thought i'd let you in on that tidbit of info.

"big r", huh...
well it was me who told you of the tax free weekend

Hey Kelly! Janalynn told me about your online diary so I decided to check it out. When you come back to Lincoln call me so we can play some DDR!
By Kelly
Hey Ariann! It's good to hear from you! I would love to DDR it sometime. I'm still really awesome at it.
By michael
your music is quite enchanting
By Tim
OK, I'm pretty sure your new band is the most hilarious yet engenious creation of all time. Maybe 2nd only to those things that look like Kraft cheese singles but are actually PB&J. Actually i've never tried those...so yep! You are number one. I requested you guys as a myspace friend just now and i FULLY expect to be the very first friend/official fan of The Cookies. I'd really be interested in producing your first full-length once you sign with Tooth and Nail.
By Doug
Hey Kelly B
Have you figured out why Big R left us? I was so shocked that he up and left us like that. I don't mean to make this public and all, but I have some weird misgivings... Well, I'll go ah ead and say it: I have a check in my spirit about Big R. I think we should kick him out of the band. If he's gonna leave us high and dry in week #2 of the new production cycle, how do we know he won't walk off when we're about to go onstage at that cool biker bar in Lincoln? I mean...whatever! I'm SO over him. I wish he was leaving again, though, cuz we could have cookies again.
By Kelly
Rand is dead to us now.
We can make cookies when I leave. And we'll have even more since Rand is dead.
By Keely
WHY IN THE CRAP DO YOU RESPOND TO EVERYONE'S ELSE'S COMMENTS...AND NOT MINE? super lame.
that flower guitar is out of control.
By Indiana "not my real name" Jones
Kelly,
Ask Doug about his days working at Ministries for Christ. Seriously! Back when he would hold up a single piece of paper and say, "Hey, check this out! It's a magazine I'm starting. Ain't it cool!" Oh, lovely thoughts.
Anyway, have fun. Just teasing Doug. But do ask.
Your anonymous dude!
By Kelly
KEELY! I love you! This comment is for you. This is my response: You're face is out of control.
In response to your 30 Days comment: Morgan only does one episode (the one where he lives on minimum wage for 30 days) and then he just narrates all the other episodes and pops up with his fabulous mustache to give wisdom to the downtroden souls of the 30 days experiment. There are several on religion and they're all really interesting. Hey, I love you! Come back to Nebraska and hang out with me.
By Miriam
it's time for you to come home. love the band....i have a feeling you guys are gonna get HUGE!
By Latrice
Kelly, it sounds like you are having an awesome time. I hope your summer was all you wanted it to be. All that and a bag of baked lays low fat low carb atkins diet potato chips.

p.s. please do not get Christine her big break in midlife white women christian rap music. she'll get too famous and she'll only remember us as the little people. wait a second-- you'll be famous, too. please don't remember me just as a little person. i can be big. remember that one time when....ah, never mind. it was nice knowing you.

Kelly is actually involved in a plot to save me from myself and my "bad taste" in "music", but really, I will always remember you Kelly (and Latrice)-for-e-ver.
It's true. Even if you don't remember me,I will always think of you when walking through a viennese flea market.

1. Latrice and Christine, I laughed super hard when I read this.
2. Who wants to get coffee soon?
3. Latrice, if Christine makes it big, you're totally going to be a backup dancer with me under the name "L-trizzain." I'll be "K-bebop." It's on!

Listen here, Miss Thang. Prison Break is epic. It's ongoing. You miss one episode and you're out! That's the kind of show I want to see. You want "law" you want "order" you can have all that in Prison Break plus a compelling story line that...oops, gotta go. PRISON BREAK!
