Tomorrow is my last day here in Austin and at HM, it's just now hitting me, literally just now. It's been an amazing experience here and i will miss everything. Still, tomorrow is just as busy as ever, as i have two stories to write. Doug's promised a nacho lunch so I am looking forward to that. I will miss Doug, such a cool cat with a golden heart. If only Fedex were as reliable, haha. Inside joke, sorry. Today I spent transcribing two interviews and finished one of my stories. Now it's off to clean up my room and bathroom.

The days are gettign shorter here as my internship is coming to a close. That doesn't mean that I don't have lots to do. I still have to transcribe two interviews and write stories on them. Hopefully everything turns out okay!

Today I worked on one of my stories for the upcoming issue as well as set up interviews. Also, Doug and I stamped envelopes for the Heavens Metal Fanzine
My friends Tripp and Christy are in town so I will be chilling with them tonight!

Today I transcribed one of my interviews, that always takes awhile. Finally making progress on my other interviews, got one Tuesday and one on Wednesday. Good stuff. Leave this saturday for the blues skies of Memphis. Can't wait to see all my friends but will definitely miss everyone here. :(

I got back from my friend Amanda's show. So good. We had a great time, playing car games, "would you rather." We stayed up late and had so much fun. Got to know my friend Graham so much better, love that guy and Matt the bass player is funny. Got an interview so I gots to go.

Last night I got a car accident! A blanket of ice covered all of Austin last night and I was over at my friend Lee's house having dinner. I went to leave and when I got to the highway, it was closed. So I turned around to go back to my friends house and as I was going down the off-ramp, my car hit ice and I lost control of the car! I hit the cement guard at about 30mph. I was alright and my car didn't have any damage. Praise God! I make it safely to my friends house and spent the night. Crazy. I am leaving this afternoon to go to Denton, TX to hear my friend Amanda play. She is an alt/country singer/songwriter. She is so good. I have been assigned three more stories before I leave so I have a busy week next week.

It's getting cold out here in Austin, time to bust out the thick jackets! This weekend was fun. I met up with my friend Chris from college and he showed me the town. We went to an in-store show which featured the Black Angels- pretty good southern rockish stuff. We then went walking around the warehouse district as well as "second street district." We then headed up to sixth street and went to a bar/coffee house or coffe house/bar. At most coffee houses in Austin, you can order a beer. How crazy is that? We had some pizza and then met up with a friend of Chris' for pinball and coffee hangout. Austin really cool and has some great places to hang out at. Saturday was spent watching football- Texas clobbered Colorado, 70-3. It was out of control. Worked on history too. Then at night went to 8 minutes max, a performance art critique at church. Some good stuff and hung out with friends Jonathan, Leigh, and Christy. Today at work, put cd's in cases and rearranged my office. Looks good. Mailed some stuff and worked on a review. Tonight is small group and the seahawks game!!

Feel like alot was accomplished today. Got the enewsletter out of the way and posted the come let us adore him devotional online. I'm not familiar with photoshop so i screwed around on that, checking out the different filters and layers. Tonight I am hanging out with my friend Chris, who I went to college with in Memphis. He's going to show me around the city. Looking forward to it.

Today was frustrating because I spent all day try to transcribe the Thrice interview. I had to transfer it from mp3 to tape which really didn't work so I had to use the mp3 to transcribe with which took forever cause I have to manually rewind with my cursor instead of using a foot pedal, which is a whole heck of a lot more easier. But alas, it's done. The Heaven's Metal fanzine is also done! We're also working on the reader's poll stuff. Now we're on to editorial stuff for the next issue. Time to eat and Friends is on. Peace.

Today felt good. Feel like a lot was accomplished today. Doug is finishing up the Heaven's Metal fanzine and i have been doing random projects like reviewing metal albums, formatting internet exclusives, transcribing interviews and reviewing cds. The drummer of One Hundred Year Storm, Brandon, stopped by and chatted for a bit. Good times. My tummy is hungry so I'm out!!

Hey You! It's your long lost sister. I'm really glad that you came home for a week and I got to spend some time with you. I just wish you could've stayed longer. This is the first time I've visited this web site. You sound so gosh-darn smart! I luv you. I like reading these cause I can actually hear your voice in my head. It's so annoying.. haha, you know I kid. I'll try to visit it again soon. It may take a while since I'm hardly ever around a computer. I'll try though.
Love you lots! ~ Jambilly

Have you seen this before? It's a number guessing game: http://www.amblesideprimary.com/ambleweb/mentalmaths/guessthenumber.html. I guessed 61727, and it got it right! Pretty neat.
