Agraceful Posts New Song
Agraceful has released yet another song on their myspace, this time it is “The Servants Are Tongues of Fire Part 2”. Guitarist Kasey commented about the release of this song on their myspace, “There are some lyrics from this song printed on some of our merchandise and fans of ours that didn’t own the cd yet were wondering what song they were from so we decided to post the track on our myspace for them.” The band is currently out on the road with Stick To Your Guns, Mychildren Mybride, Gwen Stacy, and Attack Attack! Kasey continued about this tour, “This has been the best tour we’ve been on thus far as a band. It has been really exciting for us to play for large crowds every night, there hasn’t been a small show on this tour yet.” Agraceful has also announced that they will spend the start of 2009 on the road on the Terminatour with Blessed By a Broken Heart, LoveHateHero, and Kiros. “We are really looking forward to this upcoming tour. We're hitting some of the same markets so we're hoping to see some bigger crowds and kids that are coming back to see us again.” Kasey remarked. Tour dates are posted below for the Terminatour. Agraceful will be recording their first music videos on December 13th in Anaheim with producer Robby Starbuck, who has also produced videos for A Skylit Drive, A Static Lullaby, Dance Gavin Dance, Paramore, Lower Definition and more. “We’re going to start shooting at 4:00 AM and won’t stop until 4:00 PM.” Kasey spoke about their long day. They will film videos for “A Prophecy: In Reverie” and “The Great I Am”. “’A Prophecy: In Reverie’ will be filmed in a jail cell type scene. As for ‘The Great I Am’, I can’t really say anything yet but it’s going to be epic.” Kasey continued.

The Becoming Post New Video
Tooth and Nail Records’ dark rockers The Becoming have released a video for “I Cry” on their myspace site shortly before leaving for their tour with Saving Abel. This is the band’s first video in support of their album Volume 1. Singer Caleb Owens spoke about the video, “This isn’t much of a conceptual video at all for us. I’d say it’s 90% performance, 10% conceptual. The video is filmed in an empty warehouse and snaps back and forth between a white open room and a dark room. The dark room is loosely representative of solitude and being alone.” The Becoming has just started their tour with Saving Abel. Owens continued, “We drove straight overnight from Nashville to Philadelphia to start this tour, got little sleep and stayed in maybe the worst hotel ever. It was all worth it. The crowd response has been great, and we’re glad to be out on the road supporting our record.” Something Punk.com said of their new album, “they manage to write songs that are worthwhile and achieve something that even Depeche Mode couldn’t achieve this early on in their career, new wave greatness”. Check out the video here.

The Devil Wears Prada News
The Devil Wears Prada has announced a major headlining tour for Spring 09! The dates will run from March 14th to May 1st and supporting them on the dates will A Day To Remember, Sky Eats Airplane, and Emarosa. Guitarist Jeremy DePoyster commented about the lineup, “We decided to take out A Day to Remember because they are some of our best friends and we've been doing really well on tour together lately. We met Sky Eats Airplane at Warped Tour and they're good dudes and their band is doing well and we did our second tour ever with Emarosa, we've got a lot of history with those guys. It's cool to be able to bring out a bunch of friends now that we get to pick the bands we take out.” The band has been writing for their upcoming new album to be released in spring 2009 on Ferret Music. Alternative Press featured the band and their forthcoming album with a full page in their recent “Most Anticipated 09” issue. DePoyster commented “We're still writing for the new album right now. We have close to half of the songs done so far and we have a ton of ideas for the rest of it. It’s a similar feel to Plagues sound wise. Going from our first record to Plagues was a jump just because we matured a lot. With this record, I don't feel that there's as big of a gap, but with there's a bigger, more mature sound all the while keeping the same feel to it.” The Devil Wears Prada is putting a wrap on a long 2008 tour season which included all of Warped Tour 2008 and just completing a national tour with Underoath and Saosin. You can preorder your tickets for dates on this tour here.

Collective Soul Signs To Loud & Proud Records
Multi-Platinum rockers Collective Soul have inked a worldwide deal with Loud & Proud Records. The signing, which is Collective Soul’s first since their former deal with Atlantic, marks the second official artist deal for Loud & Proud, a Roadrunner Records imprint focusing on new album projects from established artists. The band will head into frontman Ed Roland’s studio in early 2009 to begin work on the follow up to 2007’s Afterwords, released on the band’s own label, El Music Group. Roland says, “With our independent spirit, Collective Soul is excited to partner with a label of similar outlook and goals. Together we are excited to take the next step in an ever evolving music business.” Loud & Proud President Tom Lipsky added, “Collective Soul is acclaimed for their compelling songwriting and precision recording and also known for tireless touring. We are proud to have them join Loud & Proud / Roadrunner Records and we look forward to bringing their new music to audiences around the world.” Globally known for mega-hits such as “Shine,” “December” and “The World I Know,” Collective Soul hails from Atlanta, GA and has produced 7 #1 singles and sold over 10 million records. The band broke into mainstream popularity with their 1993 debut album Hints, Allegations, and Things Left Unsaid. The group’s self-titled second album arrived the following year and logged a 76-week run on the Billboard Top 200. 1999’s critically acclaimed Dosage saw Collective Soul further its run as rock radio superstars. The first single "Heavy" set a new high mark for 15-weeks at #1 on the Mainstream Rock chart. “Tremble For My Beloved” also appears on the gold-certified soundtrack for the hit film Twilight. The new album is expected summer 2009.
Bloodlined Severed Sign To Bombworks Records
Bombworks Records is proud to announce the signing of Bloodlined Severed. A 5-piece outfit hailing from Greensboro, NC, Bloodlined Severed combines elements of thrash, progressive, and modern metal to create a fresh sound for the scene. Citing influences as varied as Metallica, In Flames, Demon Hunter, Meshuggah, At the Gates, and Killswitch Engage, the band delivers powerful songs full of blazing guitar leads, chunky Pantera-like throwdowns for wicked headbanging, big memorable choruses, and great melodies mixed in with in your face heaviness. The vocals range from death growls to black shrieks to powerful cleans, and the amazing guitar work, use of various time signatures, and great dynamics really deliver, introducing a sound that carves out a new niche in the modern metal movement. The band recently self-released their 10-song debut "Visions Revealed", and Bombworks Records will be remixing and remastering the release as well as repackaging it with brand new artwork. Bloodline Severed's debut with Bombworks is slated to drop for worldwide release in March 2009.

Children 18:3 Celebrates Debut Year
After a year of rave reviews and live show acclaim, Minnesota's Children 18:3 is celebrating a successful debut year on Tooth & Nail Records. The band released their self-titled label debut on February 26, 2008. Since the release the band has been successful with touring, radio, press and fans. This past spring Children 18:3 began their year of relentlessly touring beginning with the 5for5 tour, followed by summer festivals and this fall on the road with Norma Jean on the "Solid State presents: The Norma Jean vs The Anti Mother Tour." Radio has jumped on board with this new band as both Rock singles released ("You Know We're All So Fond Of Dying" and "All My Balloons") have hit the top spot at No. 1, and the new single ("Homemade Valentine") is climbing the chart as "New and Active." In addition, Children 18:3 has been confirmed as a favorite amongst fans and editors on multiple end of the year polls. On ChristianMusicToday.com, the band garnered a spot on the coveted "Best Christian Albums of 2008" saying this is a "faith-based band that has helped reinvigorate the (punk-rock) genre." Also the readers on ChristianMusicToday.com voted Children in the Top 5 of the "Best Group or Band," "Best New Artist," and "Best Album" categories. HM Magazine readers also made their voice heard voting the band as "Favorite New Band of 2008" and Lee Marie was voted in the No. 4 as "Favorite Bassist." As the debut album made its way into fans' hands, press began chatting about the album. Reviews stated that the self-titled album "makes punk rock interesting again" and "this band was something special." Other reviews shared that "few can compare to the life, luster and liveliness in Minneapolis' Children 18:3" and lastly they said "hello to the best surprise you've gotten in years." The trio of siblings on Tooth&Nail Records hails from a rural farming community in Minnesota where the three home-schooled siblings developed their undeniable rock sound. Children 18:3 is comprised of siblings David (lead vocals, songwriter, guitar), Seth (drums) and Lee Marie (bass, vocals). The combination of male and female vocals along with their unmatched determination is a throw back to the beginnings of Tooth&Nail punk and rock n' roll. The band name is derived from Matthew 18:3, "And he said: 'I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.'"
