I Have No Fear Of Drowning
It's The Breathing That's Taking All This Work
Have you ever missed a deadline, shown up late, or broken a promise?
Have you ever told a lie or purposefully wronged someone?
Have you ever taken revenge for a hurt that was dealt to you?
Every one of us has wronged and been wronged many times, not only have we sinned against one another but we have sinned against God. It is for this reason that Christ took up His cross, that He gave His life on Calvary and eventually rose from the grave.
Jesus has taken God’s punishment for our wrongdoing, so God has forgiven the entire world for its' sins against Him.
In the Lords' prayer the Messiah encourages us to ask for God’s forgiveness as we forgive those who have sinned against us. God tells us that He desires mercy instead of sacrifice… He says that those that are merciful shall receive mercy.
So join with me today, lay down the offense that is against you and forgive your offender.
If you have knowingly wronged someone, repent and ask for their forgiveness…This is acceptable and right before God’s eyes, this is Christ’s way.
Verses To Consider:
