The Art Of Losing Your Life...
In this world you will have trouble, but be of good cheer I have overcome the world.
These are the words of Jesus and I know them to be true. The good life is not a life that is free from tribulation. It is a life that finds peace inside the tribulation.
The truth is that life can be very painful sometimes, and even though we know God is in control and that He has overcome every obstacle we will ever face through Jesus' death and resurrection, life can still hurt really, really bad.
I think that in this season of hurt it is O.K. to acknowledge the pain, because we know that the pain does not negate the hope or joy that we find in Christ. Remember that not long after Jesus made this statement he was nailed to a cross.
God knows your pain and He will bring you through it.
You will find victory and purpose in your struggle.
