Inhale/Exhale's new Video on Headbangers Ball
Inhale/Exhale, Canton, Ohio based metal/rock outfit on Solid State Records has announced that they will debut their video for “It’s Myself vs. Being a Man” on MTV’s Headbanger’s Ball. The video will debut August 14th as an exclusive on the Headbanger’s Blog and will air for the first time on MTV2’s Headbanger’s Ball on August 16th. “The whole theme is about betrayal and broken promises, same as the album. Artistically, the way the video was shot it looks grainy and contains a lot of angular shots. As a whole the video is dark, but beautifully dark.” Guitarist John LaRussa said about the video. They shot the video with Endeavor Media (The Devil Wears Prada, August Burns Red). Inhale/Exhale has also announced two separate tours that will keep them busy until the start of October. First they will tour with label mates The Showdown on their record release tour. This tour will run from August 16th to the 26th. Starting September 5th, Inhale/Exhale will embark on the Chainsaw the East tour, sponsored by Electric Zombie Clothing. They will be on tour with Oceana (Rise Records), Dead and Divine (Rise Records), and My Hero is Me (Tragic Hero). Holding true to the name of the tour, they will cover most of the east coast and a few Midwestern dates. The band has been touring steadily in support of their album, I Swear… which was released earlier this year on Solid State Records. Pastepunk.com said of the album, “This heavy/melodic dynamic is ultimately what INHALE/EXHALE is all about… they've been able to add more character to their songs.” Absolutepunk.net agreed, saying, “I Swear... is a rejuvenation in a genre that sorely needs one.

RYFO Needs Your Help
RYFO is needing your help to continue helping musicians: As things with RYFO are moving forward at drastic speeds (this is a good thing!) we are realizing that our current website cannot provide the services and care that we need to be able to offer touring musicians… The amazing dudes at Difted.com have offered to take our needed project on for a discounted price of $5,000 (give or take a few bucks for add-ons)! What we have proposed to them is easily a $15,000 website (crazy huh!). With a new site, band members will be able to book nights through the site at free host homes across the country, receive counseling from music industry counselors, request on-the-road tour chaplains, order free books from our publishing partners, manage their own prayer networks, receive and interact with daily devotional content, find RYFO partners offering discounted services such as mechanics, restaurants, and stores, and much more! There is nothing else out there like this… Bottom line, I am asking you to consider helping make this happen. Friends, please. For the sake of our musicians… It will not happen without you. If 50 of us give at least $100 each we will have a new site up within 2-3 months! We are looking to raise the money within the next 4 weeks so that the Difted team can get started on the project. I have been so humbled by what God is doing through RYFO and your support of this vision. Please help us. I can't stress enough how important this is. Thank you friends.

Nick Greenwood

Underneath The Gun Signs To Ferret Music
Ferret Music has just announced that they have signed Corona, California’s Underneath the Gun! Guitarist Trevor spoke on signing with Ferret Music, “Ferret was the best choice for us because we felt that the label had enough resources to fulfill all of our needs as a band, while still being an indie label which would give us the opportunity to have a personal relationship with everyone we work with. We felt this balance was really important to the future and growth of our band.” Alongside Trevor in Underneath the Gun is Harrison (vocals), Isaac (drums), Kyle (bass), and Danny (guitar). The band which started when members were twelve years old have previously released two independent albums and built a strong west coast fan-base. Speaking on their music Trevor said, “Our goal for the music we write is to bring a pretty aggressive metal approach, but giving our own feel to it without limiting ourselves to one particular genre of metal. We also strive to write lyrics with a meaningful message about what we believe in a way that we feel everyone can relate to.” Underneath the Gun is currently on the road with My Children My Bride and while on the road with them they will hit the Taking Back the Streets Festival, a Christian music festival based in Pilot Mountain, North Carolina. After they wrap up their month long stint with My Children My Bride, they will hit the road with Don the Reader from August 26th to September 11th.

Shaohannah's Hope Announces New Special Needs Home
Shaohannah's Hope, the adoption and orphan care ministry founded by Steven and Mary Beth Chapman, have announced the official name of their special needs healing home as Maria's Big House of Hope, named in loving memory of their five-year old daughter, Maria Sue Chapman. Located in Luoyang, China, Maria's Big House of Hope will care for orphans with medical impairments, such as cleft palate, clubbed feet, urological disorders, blindness, and neurological disorders. Maria's Big House of Hope is currently in the building stages and is set to tentatively open their doors this October. Funded by Shaohannah's Hope and managed by New Hope Foundation, upon completion this healing home will stand to be a six-floor, 60,000 sq. ft. facility and equipped with everything required to care for orphans with special needs. This will be the biggest of its kind, able to provide for over 100 children at a time. Luoyang, which has a population of around six million people, is located within the Henan province of China and is one of the poorest provinces in the country. The state-run Luoyang orphanage currently takes care of nearly 700 children and tends to most of the special needs orphans from all around Henan. To care for the specific medical needs of these orphans, Maria's Big House of Hope will provide the much-needed surgeries and medical attention, as well as be a bridge to give them hope and the love they deserve. In turn, there is hope these children will then be adopted into forever families. The Chapman family chose to build the healing home in Luoyang, China because of the area's desperate need for special needs orphan care as well as wanting to give back to the country that has given so much to them - three loving daughters: Shaohannah Hope, Stevey Joy, and Maria Sue. "We are not in the business of building orphanages, but rather building hope in the lives of orphans and vulnerable children in a way that honors God," states Scott Hasebalg, Executive Director, Shaohannah's Hope. Shaohannah's Hope also announces that to date, over $635,000 had been given to the Shaohannah's Hope's Maria's Miracle Fund in loving memory of Maria Sue. The ministry continues to be overwhelmed and thankful with the prayers and generosity from people all over the world, and there are still not enough words to be able to express the deepest gratitude for these donations. Due to the munificence of these offerings, this ministry continues to give hope and support to orphans around the world to find forever families. Though outpouring of generosity has been incredible, there is still tremendous need. Shaohannah's Hope looks forward to further partnering with donors to change the lives of orphans.
