Pet's Name: Dixie, my golden retriever

Interesting Fact: I used to run The Pendragon magazine back in the late 80’s, and the logo of my mag was created by Keith Miles (Final Axe/Titanic). I introduced Jamie Rowe to Guardian, and he became there singer (pat on my back…lol).

Something Goofy: I loved the 80’s… I liked the flash and showmanship of the 70’s and 80’s and often wish my band (www.hemotheory.com) would wear flashy clothes, or cool costumes, or maybe even make-up (like Kiss, not Poison). I think the idea of putting on a phenomenal rock and roll stage show like the days of Kiss, Alice Cooper, etc. has been lost in this day and age. What ever happened to the show?

Favorite TV Shows: You mean there are TV stations other than the NFL Network and ESPN? My all-time favorite TV shows include The X-Files, The Simpsons, Seinfeld and The Twilight Zone. Interesting Fact: I have been happily married to my wife, Lori, for over 12 years. We have two children, er...cats that we treat like children named Philly and Lucy. Interesting Fact, Part 2: I am a HUGE football fan. I played football in college and still play an occasional flag football game. I had the opportunity to meet my all-time favorite player, Dan Marino, earlier this year.

Favorite Scripture Verse: Romans 8:18 (NIV): I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Name: Loyd Harp

Age: 33

Favorite metal album of all time: Vengeance "Human Sacrifice"

Pets: 4 outdoor cats: Dora, Boots, Diego, and Saurus something

Funny/interesting: I own around 1600 CDs, all of which are catalogued alphabetically by artist and chronologically within the artist.
I also post the list online for other music geeks to look at--talk about anal!

I'm also potentially interested in doing a back page article at some point.
It's in the vein of the topic Steve Rowe hit on in issue #67, but it would approach more how we represent Christ and such to non-believers. The main gist would be how we often get duped into thinking we will be become better witnesses for Christ by becoming less like Him.

Name: Genifer Groff

age: 37 (years and blissfully counting , every year there is another AMAZING experience with my God)

my fav album of 2006---
Red's "End of Silence"... I love the strings with the passionate vocals and almost intimate screaming.. I blew my speakers in my truck with this one.. I replaced them with a much higher wattage

My fav album of all time?
This one is too hard...
When I was a kid, it was Ozzy, Megadeath ,Kiss and Alice Cooper as I got older, and as each year passes I have a new all time favorite... each year there is something else I "just love" that much more... last year , it was Kutless, Falling Up, Dizmas and Mute Math this year... it is definately Kids in the Way, RED, Underoath,Demon Hunter and Project 86

My Fav movie is:
Drum Roll Please......... " Better Off Dead" with John Cusack

My pet's names are :
Angel (white shepard/retriever mix), Abner ( black pug with fawn mask) and Cornelius (my aquatic frog... get it? Cornelius' offerings touched Heaven and the acronym for frog is Fully Rely On God??? yah, I'm deep, haha)

Interesting fact/ something Goofy about me??? Pick one...
My daughters and I do one heck of a lip sync impression of Underoath and almost kicked some older folks off of a stage at a festival to entertain the crowd, but alas, they had canes and we were scared...haha You have never heard punk until you have heard it come from some well meaning early 60 year olds... you just can 't imagine

I can't enjoy a rock show without a camera in my hand and I have never used earplugs at a show, so therefore, I can't hear a dang thing; I just get closer and closer to the thump of the stacks each show... oh...uh.. no really.. I think that is how I got this deaf in the first place. I attend during the busy season for releases, probably 3 shows a week...

I am fancinated by tattoos and what they mean to the person with them.... and I have a tattoo of a broken fish on the top of my right foot and have one designed for my shoulderblade that shows two hands with nail holes stamping ERASED (in red) over the words MY SIN ( in black). I am just looking for the right artist for the task .

Even Less interesting....
I have two beautiful daughters that volunteer with me on every free Saturday we have at Feed By Grace ministries serving the homeless in downtown, Fort Worth , Texas.

I once road the rollercoaster called "the Titan" at SixFlags over Texas in Arlington 10 times in a row .

I am excited about this up coming fall because I am going to go to Oregon and can tuna with my friend Evone... who has saved my family from the "adventure" of my homemaking by giving me recipes and guidance...
I am SO NOT June Clever...nope, no pearls around this neck

I clean my church (so I scrub The Lord's toilets), I am a photographer working independantly and also for a non-profit ministry based magazine and THE CHRISTIAN ROCK STATION 89.7 powerfm, so I make the rock stars look like they are bigger than life between scrubbing toilets...

name: Ed Hellig

age: ageless and timeless

fav 2006 metal album: Most of my favorite albums in 2006 were not released this year (CRIMSON MOONLIGHT – Veil of Remembrance, NORTT – Gudsforladt), and sometimes even this decade (TROUBLE – Psalm 9). But for stuff released in 2006, I would have to say KRISIUN – AssassiNation

fav metal album of all time: tough one…probably a toss-up between VENGEANCE RISING – Human Sacrifice and TYPE O NEGATIVE – October Rust

fav movie: Francis Ford Coppolla’s version of Bram Stoker’s Dracula

pet's name: Gretchen (dog), Boots (cat)

interesting fact / something goofy: not to be excessively haughty, but I can actually move my ears.
