Ted Decker (THR3E) and Frank Peretti (This Present Darkness) combine their supernatural thriller skills together for the first time in this crazy book called House. The story begins with an arguing couple travelling along and getting lost, where the woman actually convinces the man to ask for directions, and a 4-wheel blowout from clandestine spikes leads them to an inviting house for help. They hook up with another couple and then everything gets weird. The sick-in-the-head backwoods sons and mother that live there are cool, creepy characters. The house itself soon becomes one of the main characters and then the squirming begins. It's a really weird tale that tests the readers' patience with the gloomy aspect of the crisis never seeming to unweave itself in time. It's quite possibly too weird for its own good.

This is a really cute collection of poems, verses and thoughts about one of the most endearing television shows of all time: The Andy Griffith Show. Some of the individual pieces highlight special aspects of the show that only someone really into the show could write, but the most casual watcher could remember or relate to. While small and able to be absorbed in tiny bites, A Tribute To Mayberry tugs at common heart strings in a DIY way that's reflective of the show's easy-going nature.

Subtitled The Back Door Approach, this little chapbook-sized glorified pamphlet seems to promise an easy formula to getting signed to a record label. In a nutshell, the method involves working the album/band internationally and then coming back to the US with this successful track record abroad to try and secure US interest. While most of the "advice" is a bit over the head (or over the budgets) of small, indie bands, there are some cool ideas on how bands can tour and keep attention and momentum building.
