Destruction Fest
August 15-17 in London, England will be a punk, hardcore, metal, emo show called Destruction Fest. Extol and Zedisforzebra and Gen are just a few of the bands on the bill. Should be cool.
Just previewed the HM Stage Live DVD today. All the band footage is real good. For most of the acts, the audio sounded great. Matt Leonetti and crew will be tweaking the audio mix to get it just right before next week when it's for sale. I haven't looked at the "History of HM Magazine" or "Photo" gallery sections yet, but those should be fun. With 14 songs and interviews with about all the bands, there is a lot to take in. Because there wasn't much of a time limit with the dvd format's available space, the interviews are often very long, in-depth and sometimes funny. Hopefully, the "...this band sounds real lush, dreamy, and atmospheric" intro for the rocking Luxury song will get fixed before the disc is pressed! That's embarrassing. The dvd should be on sale at our booth at cstone and sonshine fest, at our store here afterwards, and at hmdvd.com as well.
