While Christian bands consistently draw the short stick in the world of underground music-people commonly cite country and Christian music as the only genres they won't listen to-Further Seems Forever are one band that have put themselves in a position to minister outside the bubble. Their work ethic-they've been on the road for almost two years straight-is gaining them respect in the mainstream market. They toured with New Found Glory earlier this year. While Christian kids thumb their noses at the band for being too secular, Further Seems Forever are working daily to bring passion-filled, Christ-centered music to crowds across the country. Instead of a genuine concern for the musicians' salvation, could it be that the Christian scenesters just feel left behind in the world of effective ministry?
Jason didn't speculate. However, he said, "[The situation is] really sad for me. I feel so often that people are misled about the religion part of it."
