As you know, one of the things that we do here in Thailand is organize concerts.
“WonGen Kafe” (which is an University Student outreach with YWAM Chiang Mai) is now managed by our friend Emmi and recently celebrated its “one year” birthday in October when “An Honest Mistake” played.
We are wanting to partner more with Emmi and her team. So, one of the ways that we are doing this is to help arrange concerts there. Also, Ineta is a volunteer 5 nights a week as a English teacher and waitress.
There is another volunteer group made up of local Thai musicians who are helpling to organize “open mike nights” and worship concerts on Saturday afternoons.
Most Thai musicians do not own guitar/bass amps or a drum set.
At the moment, “WonGen Kafe” does not own any music gear, sound system or lights.
I am writing you to ask if you…..your band……..your Church………or a music instrument sponsor could help “WonGen Kafe” with any music gear to have available for this ministry.
First on the list is a drum set.
None of these items have to be new, but good quality second-hand gear. Perhaps, your Church or band is upgrading……..this gear could either be donated to WonGen Kafe or bought at a discount price.
