Over-Cover undercover

It’s to say that I’d rather stay awake when I’m asleep, because everything’s never as it seems…

Sometimes things change as you prepare to go to press. For our Sep/O issue, which is currently at the printer, we had such a change. Can you guess which one we used? What do you think? Take a look at these two covers and let us know what you like or don’t like about each.

…I prefer the more colorful one. Of course, image is everything to kids these days & kids buy the music so yeah, it makes sense.

I definitely love the smiling one! The other one just made them look really mad or depressed which they aren’t- Although the grays, blacks, and white looks good. But I definitely put my vote on the smiling more colorful one.

I think the smiling one looks like the band and not some sort of “generic-angry-band” look…
I think the spirit and the color in the picture I took is fun and real, but I think the one that label provided is more professional looking.
The only thing I would do, is make sure that For Today name plate is on the bottom right, like in the second cover. LOL

I have to agree that your picture is better and not “staged”…
