I just got an email from a former intern today. It was about another intern that interned when she was interning. It was an intern refering intern email about a former intern. Internalize that! He’s got some competition this time, though, because Nathan Doyle broke a new record today. In fact, he smashed a CD into an iron fence post. We stand on the porch here and toss some CDs that we care not to preserve anymore* and we see who can toss them the furthest. It requires a good flick/spin from the wrist to really sail. Brute arm strength will only send it 15 or 20 yards. Getting the old frisbee style centrifical force (or is that centripetal?) will lift that spinning disc up higher and higher as the velocity behind it carries it forward. We’ve always tried to send these things flying outside our property, but that’s a good 50 yards away from the porch where we stand. The last toss by Nathan today looked like it might come close to going over the fence toward the road and wham! It exploded into shards of plastic. Nice job, Nate!

I got an email from Victory Records (for the band Corpus Christi), which lifted our ad sales total up. Good timing. They took the last available spot, though there are a couple spots I’m “holding” for a client that hasn’t confirmed yet. So, if you’re in need of an ad and can confirm before they do, you’re in.

Oh! I got another type of confirmation today. It was from the photographer who took this photo. Sonny confirmed a couple days prior, so this is the design for the new HM “Worship At Full Volume” shirt. What do you think? Would you buy one of these printed on soft black cotton shirts?
