‘The Powerless Rise’ in Billboard’s Top 200 Charts for 4th week in a row!

AGOURA HILLS, Calif. – June 14, 2010 – San Diego’s Grammy®-nominated group AS I LAY DYING are pleased to release their first production video from the band’s latest release The Powerless Rise, which just hit streets on May 11. AS I LAY DYING chose the song “Parallels” for the band’s first music video off their new album, which was shot in Pittsburgh, PA on May 18 with director David Brodsky of MyGoodEye with animation handled by Mike Milyavsky & David Brodsky. Fans can view the video HERE.

In other news: AS I LAY DYING’s The Powerless Rise, which debuted at #10, has now spent the last 4 weeks in Billboard Magazine’s Top 200 Charts coming in at #67! This achievement marks yet another major feat for the metal band that refuses to compromise their sound to conform to the mainstream as they continue to deliver heavy and melodic music to their fans around the world.

On July 12, AS I LAY DYING will launch the “Cool Tour” with Underoath, Between the Buried and Me, Blessthefall, The Acacia Strain, Architects, Cancer Bats, and War of Ages. The nationwide trek will launch this summer on July 12 in Orlando and wrap up in San Francisco on August 1. For pre-sale tickets and more information, visit: www.cooltour10.com.
