I am gonna agree with Joshua above and say that "Nothing is Sound" is their greatest album. As much as I like Hello Hurricane, it didn't have the raw intellectual and musical power of Nothing is Sound.

Where's the review? You talked about how you connected emotionally and you compared Hello Hurricane to records of the same emotional vein...but you didn't review the album at all. A person reads a review to get an idea of what to expect.

By the way...I feel that Switchfoot's "Nothing Is Sound" is their most underrated record to date. Lyrically, I think it confused people. (one friend of mine said it was "too political". I assume because he doesn't understand "simile".) But it remains one the most intelligent records of 2005. Long live the Foot!!

All day long in the work environment I hear whiny pop country songs and worse, really uncensored rap songs. Hearing a song like Switchfoot's "Meant to Live" is a breath of fresh air. It's night and day. I'm with soldiers fighting for the free world. But you guys have just as big a part to play rocking in it.
